I find the Millen thing interesting. I am 29(for one more day) and have been a Lions fan my whole life. For some reason I do not have the hatred of Millen that others do. I think the problem in D-town was greater than him. I am not saying he helped, because he clearly did the opposite but I think he has gotten a really bad rap for something that was not as much in his control as we think. Either way I am not going to be an apologist for him, but I think as a person and a color guy he seems pretty cool. Someone you could have a beer with.

My wife is an Oregon Duck (yeah, those past 2 games hurt). Her team is playing washington on ABC here at the same time we play PSU on ESPN. She asked what bar I would be going to to watch "my game" on saturday as we have one 60 inch HD LCD tv and one standard def 16 inch tv out in the corner of the garage. Now,,,, the garage is pretty clean, but not the warmest. (I live in Alaska), so I'd feel pretty bad about putting her out there. (Plus, I don't want to end up living out there.) By the way, how cool is it to have a wife that used to think football was "alright" 5 years ago when we met, but now calls T. Pryor an over-rated cry-baby and was screaming at the tv with me when OSU got called on that last facemask to seal the loss. What to do what to do? I could DVR one game, but then I'd have to close my eyes every time the scores popped up.

You'll have to cover your ears as well as you eyes, because John Saunders will be breaking in every five minutes to say "Tate has fired another TD pass! This time to Junior Hemmingway." or "Denard Robinson's turn! 58 yarder to Martavious Odoms." and "Forcier again, hits Koger in the back of the endzone!" and "PSU's Clark, hit by Brandon Graham as he throws, wobbly pass picked off by Woolfolk who takes it to the house!"

"My wife is an Oregon Duck" This was the only flaw I saw in your story. Other than that she sounds like a keeper. Any alumni clubs/fellow Michigan Men in your area? It sounds like you're going to the bar my friend.
