Coincidentally, Craig James and Matt Millen are two of my least favorite announcers. Praying we usually get the Bob Davie and Bowischusen. Not optimistic though.

"Bold move Cotton. Let's see how it plays out for them."

"Pepper needs new shorts!"

Good/underrated movie. One of the best cameos ever with Lance, especially since they didn't advertise it like Hangover did with Tyson.

So with desmond being in town for his michigan honor, and kirk and erin calling the primetime abc game which I assume the notre dame game will be, am I incorrect in assuming that this increases the likelihood of gameday being here since thats three members of gameday that will be here anyways???

I like Brad Nessler.  It's too bad that he gets stuck with Todd Blackledge, who just slows him down.  They should re-create the pairing of Nessler and Greise.

Am I supposed to know who Clay Matvik is?  Maybe it is because I am ordinarily at a live game on most CFB Saturdays.

And personally, I dislike Craig James just as much as the next Pirate-lovin' fan of Mike Leach.  But I actually think that James is good at what he does, and Mike Patrick (who used to be paired with Blackledge) makes everybody around him look good.  Mike Patrick and Nessler are probably the two most polished professionals on that list.

The best new lineup by far is Dave Pasch with Spielman and Urban Meyer.  Those guys aren't much as broadcasters, (Pasch is okay) but those are some serious football chops.

What happened to the old Chicago-Green Bay warhorse, Wayne Larrivee?  Is he on BTN?

Normally I'd just shake my head and scroll on down, but I have to ask: Are you 14?

Gay jokes are pretty dumb (see: today's UV) but if you're going to make a gay joke, at least make it semi creative.  What does "they live eachother" even mean?  I'm not sure if you meant "They love each other" which is a sweet sentiment, or if you meant "they live with each other" which just seems to be a wholly unnecessary cost cutting measure implemented by ESPN and/or a pretty sound financial decision.

The Meyer/Spielman paring is going to give me nightmares of seeing Meyer as head coach and Spielman as LB coach in Columbus next year.  I would like to thank ESPN in advance for many sleepless nights.

And why wouldn't anyone love Brent's "You are looking live..." opening. Sure, maybe he takes a sip and makes a little wager every now and again, but he's classic.

Who the heck is Beth Mowins????  And how mad is our man Pam that she's no longer the go-to token female (and I use that term generously) announcer?

God that announcing lineup sucks.  Disney -- never missing out on a chance to prove that they no longer have anything to offer the world of sports.  The only good play-by-play guys on there are guys that have been doing play-by-play for 20+ years.  Everyone since then is a sideline reporter or studio personality that ESPN shoehorned into the booth.  Ron Franklin is out.  Pam Ward and Beth Mowins are in.  Dave Pasch is decent, so that probably means he will never call a big game for Disney.
