It's funny because neither of them like Michigan but all they ever talk about is Michigan. Mostly because it is the only way they ever get callers. When they try and talk about MSU the phones go dead.
97.1 ripping Tate
Now I don't get it. Valenti says "Michigan could be very very good next year"...."if RichRod is still there".
Why would DB let RR go if the mentality is next year he'll bring the team to elite status? Ludicrous talk. While we're there....Ludicrous speed even.
I predict Denard will go to plaid this weekend.
Forcier will play this Saturday and look good. He won't take Denard's job away, but will show that he still has the chance to help Michigan. The media will then have to shut up about him transferring and start talking about the glut of talent Michigan has at QB.
I think Mr. Navarre's dad needs to meet with Mr. Tate to compare notes.
Valenti and his ilk have strong influence in the mind of the casual fan. Until he flames out and the FREEP is charmed via the spell of Brandon, they must be countered. On 2 different occasions this weekend, I took the time to walk a casual fan through the RR era, personnel, ridiculous NCAA violations, Mealer story, etc. They were shocked. But they'll think twice, and when we begin winning they'll spread the word. Everyone who loves the team should commit to doing the same. Last week I heard 2 M fans call into Rivals Radio in the a.m., backing RR. It's working
I don't agree with those who say ignore it. Instead Let your voice be louder
I sure hope Tate stays around and his attitude improves to the point where he is hoping the team wins instead of him playing.
He walked past my tailgate in the Crisler Lot after the game and someone shouted to him "Good Game" and his response was something along the lines of "What do you mean good game?" and then walked away. He looked pretty pissed off even before the shout out.
Finally, 97.1 ripping on Michigan in the afternoon????? NO WAY!!!
Sure sounds like one heck of a team player to me. I'm sure walk-on who never even dons his helmet past the National Anthem would respond the same way to a friendly tailgater postgame...
You can add Robinson to that list of great composers.
If you don't like sports talk radio (surprise! it all sucks)...stop listening to it. You are just like the Democrat listening to Rush or the Republican watching Keith Olbermann, just so you can say "oh! there he goes again! what a jerk. I'm going right to the internet to report this one!" Meanwhile, the blowhard gets exactly what he wants (attention) and you line his pockets with money.
To make matters worse, you then run to this website and dump this crap in our laps. We don't give a shit. We all hail this blog as the best source of sports information...so much so that there is no reason to venture beyond it. I only read MGoBlog and I'm pretty sure I'm at least as informed as the majority of readers here.
Just stop listening. It's easy.
don't like hearing valenti and foster rip michigan and exagerate the truth(ie: transfers) then don't call in, don't "ticket text" the station, don't post on there facebook pages and don't email them... if michigan fans would just stop doing this they would drop the subject a lot faster and move on... the more reaction they can get of fans the better for them... to simply stop listening to them does nothing really in the grand scheme of things... when they're not talking michigan football it is a pretty good show... unfortunately for michigan fans right now the tigers suck and the lions haven't started playing yet and for some reason state fans don't flood their lines like michigan fans do, so of course they are going to talk michigan football... next week should be a lot better after the lions play their first game, for some reason people love to bitch about the lions a lot more then michigan football...
