BR went 3&out but got an automatic first down due to Cass Tech getting a roughing the kicker penalty on the punt.

Cass Tech stuffs BR at the goaline on 4th and goal. But LB/RB Gary Hosey gets tackled in the endzone on CT's possession. 2-0 Brother Rice, 7:38 in the 1st Quarter.

I know it's taboo to talk about mgopoints and it doesn't really matter but it's really annoying when legitimate posts get grayed out. I know you can change the threshold, but I actually do want crappy posts grayed out. What if we limit the number of negs that can be given out in a certain period of time or something? Seems like there's been a few threads lately where someone with a stick up their ass just goes through and negs every single post.

My observation, right or wrong, is that it's not taboo to talk about others' mgopoints; it's just not cool to talk about your own.

In the offseason, a large segment of people here are always crotchety.  It's just the way it goes.  They get sick of a summer's worth of OT posts, and really seem to be touchy in August.  The Pope could show up and bless everyone, and someone would find a reason to push the neg button.

Luckily, football starts in a week, and everything will be back to what constitutes "normal."

Huge gain by Gilmore. CT first down. They have found BR's weakness. Keep running it up the gut.

Campbell now starting to hit his men. They are now in Brother Rice territory. Short passing game cutting up BR defense.

Cass Tech has some good offensive flow.  Going for it on 4th down due to not having a FG kicker.

Jourdan Lewis drops a pass that would have been a touchdown. He was wide open but he took his eyes off it.

Cass Tech turns it over.

Brother Rice really with some headscratching playcalling. Running on 3rd down and 9. They go 3 and out.

A 44yd reverse pass by Jourdan Lewis to Damon Webb. Very good to see Cass Tech respond to a long touchdown by BR.

Webb with the big hit that caused the fumble, he also made the recovery. He has been the player of the game so far with a two TD grabs and a fumble recovery.

Iowa 2013 commit Delano Hill makes another big hit. Hit knocks the helmet off of the Brother Rice RB.

Timeout Cass Tech. Under 4 minutes left in the 1st half, 12-12 tie.

Brian Sanders and Willie White with the sack on Brother Rice. 4th down. BR will punt.

Interesting note, Terry Richardson, Devin Gardner and Kenny Demens are in the house I have been told.
