Oh thank god.  I thought this was going to be another "why don't we incorporate DG in the offensive and run a QB duo."  I'm sorry I'm pissed.  I just had to pull an all nighter at school.  Thank you for not writing one of those.

Edit:  My comment also made more sense with the original title #7 QB duo

by analysts with nothing to do until the season begins. The rankings have little, if anything, to do with the second-stringer. Hell, I could be Luck's back-up and they'd still rank Stanford right up there. And, it's sheer folly to think you can rank all 120 FBS teams!

I don't know why they bothered to include the second QB. They don't even metion them in the analysis half the time. If they were to drop the backups, the only thing that would change is that Houston would drop to 3rd.

Keenum red-shirted behind Kolb in 2006. He started 2007-2009 and got a medical red-shirt for 2010. Good for him since playing this year will allow him to break every significant NCAA passing record.

It's like some editor at rivals said "Top QB lists are boooring this year. Andrew Luck is boooring. Make me up a completely idiotic list of QB duos which is totally irrelevant because they don't play at the same time anyway so it's not like 'top CB duos' or 'top WR duos' or 'top DE duos'. Okay?"

To which Mike Hugueninininin replied, "righto, boss!"
