In HS our practice unis were all white, and ever since, I just Can't see an all white uni and take a team seriously
We went 10-1, had four shutouts, began OSU game ranked #3
And we didn't go to a bowl game.
In '73, we went 10-0-1, had three shutouts, began OSU game @ #4, but no bowl game.
In '72, we went 10-1, had four shutouts, began the OSU game @ #3, but no bowl game.
In '70, we went 9-1, had three shutouts, began OSU game @ #4, but no bowl game.
Imagine having your team go 39-1-3 over four seasons and not see them play in one fucking bowl game, thanks to the Big Ten and its criminally stupid Rose Bowl-or-nothing policy back then. THAT'S why the OSU game became so huge when Bo came here—it was a stumbling block in a way that fans today just can't conceive of.

Great defensive ball game but Latry nailed the FG...It drifted left well behind the cross bar! I was 11 years old and felt crushed after this game. White road uniforms were not the greatest!
