Great start for the huskies.

Wasn't Browning a 5*?
He's completely outplaying Rosen and both are sophomores. The kid is damn good.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:15 PM ^
But top 100 kid to pretty much every site.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:16 PM ^
Well he's damn good.

I'm getting old-school Rose Bowl flashbacks watching Washington fly down the field.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:15 PM ^
Is that when you were marching in the Fanfare M formation?
September 30th, 2016 at 9:17 PM ^
Nope, that's USC.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:12 PM ^
and then they miss the XP
September 30th, 2016 at 9:12 PM ^
Oh the all-important missed XP
September 30th, 2016 at 9:12 PM ^
Good lord...Stanford looks slow as crap.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:12 PM ^
UW looks good early. I like it. It's nice to see some old powers rise, and get some new teams in the playoff mix, us included.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:13 PM ^
is that Rex Grossman out there for UW?

All over McCaffrey so far. I heard on ESPN today that he's never scored a touchdown in a true road game. Pretty crazy stat.

Stanford is up against the ropes
September 30th, 2016 at 9:21 PM ^
Sounds like a Sounders game...who would've thought 10 years ago that Stanford and Washington would both be in the top 10 and the atmosphere would be insane.
Stanford is completely rattled. They just have to keep it within 10 by halftime or they may lose control of this one.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:26 PM ^
Washington has a good football history. They had a long walk through the wildnerness but this is a return to form for them. And Stanford's had its moments. This isn't Indiana-Purdue.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:29 PM ^
A very solid program over the years...but the days were DARK for both of these teams pre-Harbaugh.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:23 PM ^
#1 does such a great job of doing the right thing after the catch. Like the third time tonight.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:23 PM ^
Chris Peterson is an elite coach and he's going to take this school to a NC game in the near future.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:28 PM ^
He's got everything he needs at Washington. There's no reason to go try and fix that shit show.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:31 PM ^
That'd be a tough job to turn down because So Cal is so damn nice and talent is freaking everywhere there. But I think Peterson might be pretty happy at Washington I don't think he's a life in the fast lane guy. Plus USC is like Michigan they like alums if possible.

Stanford looking a little sleepy, damn. Washingtong of course at home comes out blazing but even down 2 TDs Stanford, once and if they wake up*, may be okay. I guess that's the talent and quality-team I see in them.
*assuming the alarm sounds before the 4th quarter when they're down 4 TDs. Gotta get something going on offense in the next couple drives.

Washington is looking scary good...they picked a good time to rise cause the rest of the Pac12 is a dumpster fire

Both good teams but Washington is a step above both (in my opninon anyway)

That makes no sense...you can push a teammate, but you can't pull him in? WTF?

my cousin had a birthday party for his kid and wouldn't let my dad and I watch the game ("this is for my kid, you can watch football anytime!"). These cousins didn't go to college and don't understand these things. My dad and I hid out in the car and listened to the first half on the radio before the cousin relented. Worst 2nd half ever to watch.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:33 PM ^
Gah that game sucked so hard.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:34 PM ^
Even worse, when Michigan played there in 1983, Washington scored in the final minute and went for a 2 point conversion to win 25-24. Over 100 yards in penalties for Michigan that day. No penalties against UW.
Never look forward to playing in that stadium.

Wonder if USC would go after Peterson after this season if he leads UW to a PAC12 title.
September 30th, 2016 at 9:33 PM ^
But I think he stays...there's just no reason, especially after you just started building something at Washington.
They should've hired him over Helton and threw a boat load of money at him. But Pat Haden is a fucking idiot.
