7-0 before Penn State?

Hey, do you think we have a good chance of going undefeated before we play Penn State? I think the only tough battle ahead will be MSU, and I'm not too sure how hard that will be now. Thoughts?

In my 9-3 regular season projection, I had them losing to Iowa and going into that game at 6-1. I'm a tad more optimistic than most people here, but I am beginning to think they could go 10-2 or even 11-1 after what happened today. I had them also losing to PSU and Wisky, but Wisky and Iowa aren't exactly looking like world-beaters right now. The games looked like sure losses to me, but Iowa is looking like a tossup and Wisky is looking like a win at this point. It's not so much that they beat ND today that makes me think I may not have been optimistic enough, but how Forcier looked. I know the announcers beat it into the ground, but he definitely looked mature beyond his years. That last drive was something you expect out of an upperclassman. Upgrading the #1 QB to "de facto upperclassman" definitely changes the outlook, at least to me.

I think we might not have the depth and experience to consistently play as well as we have. On paper, I'm not impressed with the big ten, outside of PSU and OSU I guess. However, taking our young offense on the road might lead to a slip up or two.

With 89 freshmen and sophmores on the team just enjoy the ride that this team is taking us on week by week. As we all know 3-9 was only a season ago, so just enjoy each game for what it is.

This writer thinks Michigan may have a shot at 12-0: "The question is, who's going to make enough plays to beat Michigan this season? Look at the Wolverines' schedule. The game at Michigan State looks a lot more winnable after the Spartans' loss Saturday to a Central Michigan, doesn't it? Iowa is down. Wisconsin needed overtime to beat Fresno State at home. Penn State and Ohio State are the two most difficult teams on the Michigan schedule, but both will come to Michigan Stadium. Am I saying Michigan, which went 3-9 in 2008, could go 12-0 in 2009? Yes. I'm saying it's possible. I'm saying Michigan could. " http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/story/12196337

unlikely, I do see 4-0 going into East Lansing, but that game will be tough no doubt, along with the following week at Iowa. After that Delaware State, so worst case 5-2 at that point I think. If Tate gets hurt then all bets are off....
