Well it says Urban and the staff knows. I imagine Kareem wanted the visit on the DL so our completely fair and reasonable fans wouldn't tell him their opinions on the matter.

from the comfort of his house in Nashville.

Haha. Fantastic response.

Work your magic!

Sam Webb has been hinting at a few secret visitors for this weekend. We can assume that this is who he was talking about. HUGE!
October 9th, 2015 at 2:58 PM ^
I think he was supposed to be one of the two "secret" visitior's this week. So much for that.
This is the same RB that Meyer told that they were only taking one RB and then followed it up with having 2 more commit. I'm not surpirsed he's looking around.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:10 PM ^
How can any recruit take him at his word?
October 9th, 2015 at 4:58 PM ^
After he told them to come to OSU and you will be a Champion, then they did and now are Champions. They know his word his gold.
It's when you say come to UM and you will play for championships, then only win 5 games, fire a coach every 3-4 years, and get you ass stomped by every rival on your schedule that the recruits don't believe in you. Just ask Deshaun Hand.

To be fair, Michigan has a fair few RBs committed this year too, so my guess is that # of RBs is not a factor at this point.
Having said that, I just watched some highlights of Mr. Walker. Plz come to Michigan. Thanks.
October 9th, 2015 at 4:57 PM ^
I don't think the issue is so much having othe rbs commit. The issue is being told they wouldn't take other rbs and then go ahead and take other rbs.
October 9th, 2015 at 5:57 PM ^
he was the 2nd RB to commit. I don't think that's the case.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:46 PM ^
Talk about a man among boys. He has really impressive footwork and ability to find gaps. It looks like he could do really well either inside or outside. Do want - badly.
October 9th, 2015 at 9:42 PM ^
That dude finds the hole and explodes through, no? (that's what she said)
October 9th, 2015 at 3:00 PM ^
Buckeye snakeoil tastes delicious and it's good for your complexion.

I would love to see Wheatley and Harbaugh lock up Walker this weekend with a trouncing of Northwestern's vaunted defense.
Walker commits, Gary commits, we own the state of NJ (not sure we really want the state, maybe just all of its star players)
October 9th, 2015 at 3:04 PM ^
Yeah, not sure you'd want to own the state. Successor liability issues related to environmental contamination and what not.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:15 PM ^
Hahaha...CERCLA call-outs? I fucking love this blog
October 9th, 2015 at 3:43 PM ^
Ha! You and me both - fantastic ypsitucky boy!
October 9th, 2015 at 5:12 PM ^
Jesus, how many friggen lawyers are on here anyway? *guilty*
October 9th, 2015 at 5:47 PM ^
A whole lot. *also guilty*
October 9th, 2015 at 5:40 PM ^
It's a dirty business dealing with the government.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:39 PM ^
Environmental contamination??? Isn't it called the Garden State?
/jk
October 9th, 2015 at 3:42 PM ^
If you're growing malls and smokestacks, sure.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:01 PM ^
Can't blame him at all. Go Blue!
October 9th, 2015 at 3:04 PM ^
Isn't their other RB commit sniffing around Sparty? I know I saw several 247 picks to Sparty for this kid, forget his name, but don't know if that was the "I picked wrong last time and don't lose anything for picking again" deal with Crystal Balls.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:19 PM ^
George Hill, same HS as LJ Scott who is a freshman at msu.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:05 PM ^
Yeah, I think it's no accident that an OSU committ that wanted his visit to be a secret had the news broken by an OSU recruiting site.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:05 PM ^
IT'S HAPPPPPEEENNNIINNNNNGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 9th, 2015 at 3:07 PM ^
But who is calling the game tomorrow on BTN? I can't find it online.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:10 PM ^
Edit: ugh damn it's on Btn. My guess is that Collins guy and Glenn mason. It will be awful anyway.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:22 PM ^
i believe i saw him being interviewed in columbus last nite, so he is likely working the osu game.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:26 PM ^
Oh god. Then it could be Millen. Hopefully Millen gets the night game. MSU Rutgers.
October 9th, 2015 at 4:28 PM ^
What's wrong with Millen? He does actual football analysis, unlike most color guys.
October 9th, 2015 at 4:32 PM ^
You serious.
October 9th, 2015 at 4:47 PM ^
Yes. I think he's above average, and most posters on here just can't get over the fact that he was a terrible GM.
I'm not the only one:
Before Matt Millen was the worst general manager in the history of professional sports—I defy anyone to contradict that statement—he was a good-to-excellent color guy. Hell, the reason he got the job with the Lions seemed to be his outstanding color commentary. It's not like he had any other qualifications whatsoever. So he and McDonough seem fine; I know some people think he's got it in for Michigan or something but that's because some people are crazy tribalists.

Did you listen to him last week? Turrible.

He couldn't have listened to him last week. He was horrendous.
October 9th, 2015 at 5:21 PM ^
I'm sorry, but Isaiah Thomas as GM of the Knicks has got to be worse. I think the Knicks are still paying Allan Houston fer crying out loud.

He wasn't just a bad GM. He was the worst GM in the history of sports. He put together the 0-16 lions. His teams had 270 winning percentage. My pain was worse than your pain.
October 9th, 2015 at 6:42 PM ^
Isiah... put as a Knick fan, I could t agree more - that guy sucked something awful and I am incredulous that prissy fuck owner James Dolan has him back in the fold once again

He was responsible for killing the CBA.
October 9th, 2015 at 7:32 PM ^
But he was only on the job for a year. He probably would have gotten better if the Pistons were dumb enough to keep him.
Thomas was terrible, and working for one of the worst owners in sports, he managed to last 4+ years.
Millen was pitiful for 7 years. He never get better, although maybe he eventually moved to Michigan. He wins for the longevity of his reign. It couldn't have happened anywhere else.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:43 PM ^
for another static game!! BTN connection: brought to you by 1995.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:28 PM ^
Kevin Kugler, Matt Millen, and Lisa Byington. Same crew as last week. Link.
October 9th, 2015 at 3:41 PM ^
I forgot that was mentioned in the telecast last week they would be in Ann Arbor. I appreciate it.
October 9th, 2015 at 5:07 PM ^
I'll take the same score as last week also
