Great get for MSU. Think Gary Harris but a much better athlete. What a huge blow to Michigan.

THANKS A LOT TYUS

be really difficult for kids and families to decide what to do.  Obviously the dream of pro ball, stardom and big money hangs over all of this with stories kids living the dream but equally out there are the kids that seemingly had NBA written all over them that flamed out and never made it.  So you can't really blame kids and parents for wanting to explore all their options.  They only get one shot at this, while college programs move on to the next kid.

Not sure what you do about the Battle-Langford situation where Tyus may have committed to reserve a spot and then decomitted. That's just inevitable with how recruiting and signing is setup now. Seems like the only thing you could really do is let kids sign whenever they want.

Langford had a final 8 well before Battle committed and he wasn't considering Michigan for the last few months.  He didn't have a strong interest in U of M.  Battle is still in play and lets go full court on Winston.  Also read his 2nd cousin is Bears and former msu running back Jeremy Langford...

because he'll be the same exact player whenever he decides to leave MSU after playing under Izzo.

At least he'll learn to hold people on defense without getting called for it too much, oh, and when he does get called, he can always practice his WTF face to the officials.

Gotta give sparty props.  To pull an out of state kid to a crappy city with a burned out coach.  Players regress at MSU.  Mad props.

I doubt his commitment lasts.

One of these other coaches will get in his ear and show all the 5 star flameouts and the kid will be scared off.

I wouldn't be shocked if landed at Auburn with Bruce Pearl.
