Granted, it crosses two seasons, but regarding Gardner in particular, the stat line after seven games as the starting QB is impressive, I would think.

He has 106 completions on 174 passes for 1,675 yards, along with 16 passing TDs and 8 INTs. That's good for 9.62 yards per attempt and 15.80 yards per completion. It also equates to a pass efficiency rating in that span of 162.93. Indeed, as of right now, Gardner is third in total yards and fourth in passing TDs in the conference.

Our record at the Big House is pretty awesome but . . . dang, we were a machine at home in our pre-1927 days - 192-12-11.  Yost really took care of business at home.

What is our longest home winning streak, anyway?

Wow!  50 wins in a row and 100 straight undefeated at home?  Is that second one a college football record?

Do you know what our longest streak is in the 1969-present era?  I know Bo went undefeated at home a few years in a row in the early '70s, but he did have the Ohio tie in 1973.

The second has to be. I'm not sure if it is or not but that is pretty amazing.

Michigan's longest home unbeaten streak since 1969 is 38-0-3 from 10/11/1969-11/22/1975.

Michigan's longest home winning streak since 1969 I believe is 28-0 from 10/11/1969-11/24/1973.

If someone would have told me back in 2010 that Gibbons would eventually break that record of consecutive field goals made I would have thought they were insane.  Congrats to him.

To put the all-time record in context, Michigan has to lose every game for the rest of this season, every game for 48 straight years, and then lose the first four game of the next season at 12 games per year just to get to .500 all-tme.

I think it's reasonable to assume Michigan will never be under .500 as a program again.
