Refreshing. Seems like a good kid and one that others can look up to.
Buckeye nation saw number one on the list and collectively went
Number 11
I wonder what number he wanted? Also he cant swim....why can't black people swim?
He wants # 12 but Roy told Devin he will have to wait until he leaves.
With #8 and #9, but makes #13 problematic.
With #19
I honestly dont know any black athlete without a tat. That's interesting.
According to this article:
Chris Paul
Dwight Howard
Dwyane Wade
Ray Allen
Vince Carter
Elton Brand
Shane Battier
Brandon Roy
Grant Hill
Luol Deng
I think back to the 80's and early 90's, and it wasn't super common at all. And a generation later, there are more co-eds with tatts than there used to be sailors.
Just ask Jalen

Michael Jordan?
You need to watch more sports.
I don't think Denard has any tattoos.
"20. I would rather watch Fairly Odd Parents than Sports Center.."
Better content on Nick for sure...
Michigan fans often talk about how nice of a young man Denard Robinson is, as they should, but we are also lucky to have Devin Gardner on our football team. He seems like a wonderful person and a great representative of the university and I hope he gets his time to shine after Denard has moved on to the pros.
are contagious. The opposite is also true. See RCMB, etc
Looks like Devin can follow in Denard's footsteps as oustanding QBs and even better people
that's nice, where are the other 22?

yeah, I see that now, sorry for coming as a douche, I really didn't know =S
When i decribe Devin to people who don't follow Michigan football enough to know who the back-up quarter back is (which is alot of people), i say he looks like Vince Young and hopefully plays like him. it's nice ot know he's not an idiot with no sense of humor like VY
...is more geek than BMOC? Refreshing.
Enjoy having him on our team more and more every day. Under most circumstances I would wish him to see the field soon. As long as he stays level-headed and keeps working hard then Im sure the UM faithful will have a lot to cheer about in the near future.
It's alright DG, I can't swim either! I can relate to the guy a lot actually. He seems like this big super-star to me but then I realize he's the same age as me...
Something is slightly disconcerting about that one...
I'm glad somebody else noticed that. I know a lot of players get themselves in trouble with Twitter . . .
I cringed a little. Something about college athletes using the word "cash," even if it is completely innocent.
I'd love to watch The Princess Diaries with DG.
You could hold hands during the movie and play dress-up after.
Sold you, didn't it?
I am like a chocoholic but with booze.

He needs to work on #4 & #5.

Yeah I said it!
would've guessed that these were the qualities of our future QB? He is the Anti-Cam Newton.
i can totally relate to fairly odd parents. that show always cracks me up
This thread has made me laugh out loud more than I have in a while. Thanks to all for that. I would make my funny (although highly unoriginal) contribution with a .gif right now but Im on my phone.
This is great. So refreshing to read something like this - he still sounds like a nice, innocent kid. There is no macho BS that I thnk most ball players would post. I instantly like him even more than before. Glad he's a Wolverine.
My thoughts excactly. It's nice to see that DG is not afraid to be honest about who he is. This is especiialy evident in the one about singing slow songs in the car.
If I offer free swim lessons for him, is that an improper benifit?
It's satisfying to know we are maintaining the tradition of putting stand-up guys at quarterback (Griese, Brady, Navarre, Hensen, Henne, Denard, and DG).
@Michael Phelps. Teach this young man your powers.
I'm confused by the Phelps comment. I like Phelps, and have hung out with him- he was a lot more down-to-earth and, frankly, normal/cool than I'd ever thought he would be. But that being said, as much as i enjoyed hanging out with him, we were getting blitzed (booze only)...Phelps is an incredible talent; perhaps the most talented swimmer of all time. Not everyone can roll like he does, and I don't know if we'd want DG and him to be partying buddies. . . See: tabloid stuff since Beijing.
Devin can't swim.
Michael can.
Michael teaches Devin how to swim.
Devin can swim.
Hmm.. you're right, let's just get him teach DG how to swim.
DGardner has mastered the art of self-deprecation. And I'd bet it works with da ladeez.
"39. @KogerNotKroger, @YoungHemi21, @CamGordon4, & @jgal_10 have looked out 4 me bigtime (runs, lifts, cash, cable etc.).."
I smell violations of some kind... Now where is that number for the NCAA,
He's already on the team. I'm pretty sure he can borrow money or split the cable bill with his friends on the team.
So you're "pretty sure". I feel a lot better. I hope you are right, though. But wait a minute, where did the other players get THEIR money? . . . Dun dun dun sound effect . . .
I said "pretty sure" because I'm no lawyer or complaince office worker but friends borrowing a few bucks from their friends doesn't seem like an NCAA violation.
As far as where did the other players get their money, stop being paranoid. When I was a kid my older brother never managed to save any money. When we would buy something bigger I would usually put in more money than him even though we got the same allowance. Was I selling my extra equipment or signing autographs in the playgound? No, some people are just better with money
