if you use the code UM4VETS
In a related note, I have season tix, butwon't be bale to make it. Just 1 ticket in upper bowl, but if anyone wants it, its yours.
I wanted to go but felt bad about paying more in service fees than the actual tickets. But with no fees and an even lower per ticket price, this deal made my decision a whole lot easier. Thanks for the great find!
If I wasn't such a stick in the mud, I'd pack the family up and drive to A2 for the game. Maybe I'll take my wife on a date. Wooooo
these "deals" really piss me off. I purchase my tickets at full price then the athletic department sells tickets at a discount to a bunch of games every year. I understand trying to get people in the seats but it is kinda a slap in the face to those who pay full price.
but a) its for veterans day
b) its going to be half empty anyways as a glorified exhibition game against ferris
c) its like football, you're paying for the right to have tickets to the MSU,OSU
The fact that your season tickets give you guaranteed great seats for the best games overrides the fact that someone can get into the lesser games at a resonable price. If you are really that angry, just look at your full price tickets for less-desirable games as a "seat license" that will get you into the sellout games.
If I could afford season tickets, I would be happy to see people get a bargain once in awhile.
I get where you are coming from, eventhough I paid less than you as an undergrad. I bought season tix each of the four years I was at UM and was dumbfounded when the athletic department would turnaround and give out tickets to students who hadn't bought the season package, for free.
Even giving us a t-shirt or a breakfast or something to show their appreciation for each game they gave away free tickets would be nice. I get that the athletic department isn't obligated to do this, but it just encourages people to not buy and wait.
If your seaon tickets are fungible with the tickets available in the deals, why are you paying for seasons?
don't know why anyone would get nose bleed season tix?
there aren't many different levels of seating so sitting in the last row in the corner is not really the best option for a season tix
so they really are not fungible
Which is my point. So if there really is a difference between the seats you get for seasons and the seat that the package deal people sit in, there shouldn't be any complaint about paying more for the season ticket seats. If someone thinks that there isn't any difference in the seats and doesn't like paying more for the season ticket seats, then they should stop buying season tickets and get the cheaper seats from the package deals.
I would consider it as I've never been to a Michigan basketball game but tomorrow night is the opener for EMU and I've got my courtside pass for that...:)
