4* QB Wiegers drops Rutgers for Iowa- "Those who are with me will be champions"
The 4* Detroit Country Day product has now joined forces with GERG Davis after the meltdown of the Rutgers recruiting class. Maybe he likes short passes, I have no idea. His big tweet was a bit strange "Those who are with me will be champions!", not quite as catchy as the original. The full story and tweet grab at BHGP.

Don't know about the "champions" thing but I think he be a pretty decent QB there at Iowa.

MSU? Don't they have Jayru Campbell? Will he be playing QB for MSU?

Thanks, for some reason I forgot Jayru was a 2015 guy. No surprise then that MSU wants this guy. I highly doubt he changes teams again this late, but MSU probably has the best shot if he does switch.

anyone know of a summary out there for all that's happened? I just found one article saying they lost 3 or 4 four star guys recently

They started losing some of their bigger commitments probably because they were getiing blown out and the season was crumbling. Some wanted to take visits and others just flat out decommitted. They lost this kid, Jon Hilliman, Kiy Hester, Adonis Jennings, who are all 4* and a few others, I think 7 in total. Also they fired 3 coaches which hurt the relationships with the recruits.

I had Wiegers ranked above Wilton Speight when I watch the quarterbacks' junior highlights last winter. I still kind of wish Michigan would get involved with Wiegers.
