And it's senior day  for a QB who was once ranked 5th in the nation as a recruit.  Then 2 position changes, and 5 coaches later, the guy never complained once and almost willed Michigan to a victory over ohio on a broken foot.

Stay warm at home today.

My sports season is as bad as it gets this year. Michigan fan...check....raiders fan...check...buffalo sabres fan....check. Between the three of them they have as many wins as Bama will have after today. how bad will it get? Lol

Thank god for basketball season (Michigan /Kansas fan) and soccer season (Chelsea).

Will be watching today in hopes of bowl eligibility. I think our defense will prevail yet again. Our defense has seriously been the reason why we have won 5 games. Without our defense we would have 2-3 wins.

I was offered free tickets from my friend at work who is a season ticket season holder and my wife who also is a UofM alum refused to go. When i asked her to go, she replied: "Isnt it going to be cold tomorrow plus dont they suck this year?" Lol.

We would go to the games all the time (rain, cold, snow) when we were students, now even she knows its not worthy..when a team is sooo bad for soo long its hard to sacrafice and go out of the way to be there.

Quick aside that may be appropriate for today - what are the best alternatives for cheap or free parking if you're willing to walk a ways?

On the street in the neighborhoods northwest of the stadium.  3 hours out you can find spots within 10 minute walk.  1.5 hours out it'll be more like a 20 minute walk.  If you go north on second street, you'll run into something eventually.  Probably no more than a 25-30 minute walk and you might end up just a couple blocks west of main street for some after-game fun.

It seems funny to me that they count tickets sold. By definition, it seems to me that one must actually attend the game to be counted in the offical attendance.

In the fourth quarter they announce "today's attendance" not "tickets sold".
