Just boys being boys. I mean, if these girls didn't want to have their privacy violated, why would they have sex with men???

that was the very point of his statement, to highlight how idiotic the action was.  If you know he was being sarcastic, and you know the sarcasm is intended to highlight what an offensive action it was, why is not OK to say?  I am seriously wondering.  I don't understand how this statement in this context is offensive.

I am not offended by the statement.  This reminds me of when somebody made an anti sementic Always Sunny in Philidelphia quote, and then justified it being okay because "it was in a show"

My point is that people often say things and then deflect criticism by claiming they weren't the first one to say it or they were being sarcastic, etc.

In this country you can say whatever you want about anybody you want, and it's okay to say. Some may take offense of course, but you still have the freedom to say it. No threats, but you can call women and Jews all the names you want. Feel free....oh, one more thing, you don't have to justify it either, that's a myth some thin skinned pussy made up.

There's a difference between someone making a claim of sarcasm in regards to an offensive statement intended to justify deplorable behavior and someone who mocks such statements by taking them to a ridiculous extreme.

I am reminded of Louis CK's joke that rape is never OK unless there's a good reason, like you want to have sex with someone but they won't let you. He's mocking all the justifications rapists use for their actions by showing what they all really boil down to.

Coach Richard Pitino said "I have enjoyed my time here in Minnesota and look forward to pursuing other endeavors for which I am remotely qualified."

Maybe I'm naive--I sure as hell don't get out much any more--but this is what I think did not happen here...

"Sweetie, you mind if I put that video up on twitter?"

"No, of course I don't mind. Why don't you put it up on facebook too? I don't want my family to miss it...."

that is mostly because, for the most part, there is no difference between the "real world" and the "social media" world.  It is the only world they know.  Their world has always consisted of surfing the internet on the elevator.  They have grown up in a world where it doesn't matter if you actually had fun doing something, all that is important is that it looks like you had fun on Facebook.  It is the real world to them.
