Kind of a biggish game. Two top five teams, set us up for the GLI, posbangs are back and it would be damn nice to have something to be happy about around here. Game is on Fox Sports Detroit Plus. Let's go boys. Go blue, beat the Bulldogs and keep rolling.

It'll be interesting to see if they're all hype or not. Will also be interesting to see how former CCHA teams do without B1G members filling their arenas. M by 3.

Should be a good game. Actually, if you follow Michigan hockey, this is your last chance to get a fix until after Christmas, if I am not mistaken, so turn out - either in person or in spirit - and support the Wolverines.

Incidentally, Massy predicts a tossup basically - 51% esitmated win probability for Ferris State with a predicted tie actually. Interesting indeed.

In Goal- Junior CJ Motte (brother of Tyler) 2.31 GAA and .925 save percentage. Is playing better lately after a slow start.

Scoring- Sophomore Matt Robertson has goals in 7 straight games. Senior Garrett Thompson leads the team with 20 pts. (9G, 11A). Although Ferris seems to have pretty balanced scoring with 9 players in double digit points through 17 games.

Defense- Senior Scott Czarnowczan (Captain) is an offensive puck moving defenseman who can score (4G, 10A). Junior Jason Binkley is a more physical defenseman who has 15 pts to go along with 31 PIMS.

Recently Ferris has been giving up a lot of shots, but not so much "quality scoring chances" it will be important Michigan gets into scoring areas and creates traffic to disrupt Motte.

EDIT: CJ Motte is Junior (corrected)
