Anyone watching?  LSU/Alabama looks fun.

Watching Bama. It almost looks like a different sport. Excellent execution from both sides except for the fumble. Explosive athletes all over the field. In other words, the opposite of us.

I'm waiting for the Michigan game replay. I'm a sadomasochist. Afterwards, I'm going to jump into the Detroit River with a Meijer plastic bag rubber banded around my face. Should be a good ending to a night.

Overall, LSU has really been moving the ball quite well - 232 yards in the first half over 33 plays, which is a shade over 7 yards per snap on average. Zach Mettenberger is 10-13 for 173 yards with 1 TD. Interestingly, Travin Dural has only caught one pass and has the only recieving TD.

I hate the SEC and think they are top heavy, but these two teams are so far superior to anything we watch in the B1G week in week out, OSU included.  We are so far away from being a legit top team in the country, let alone our own shit conference, really depressing.  I doubt we ever get to this level under Hoke.

Night and day difference between them and Michigan. We aren't even close to elite, not that this is some revelation. I would love to have a strong-armed pro style quarterback like Mettenberger or a game manager like McCarron. This is big boy football. Both teams would destroy Ohio State, as well as the rest of our shitty conference.

Maybe my second-favorite Lloyd moment of all time was 2003 at MSU when Michigan abandoned a dominant run game late to try a bootleg play-action pass that was blown up for a fumble-scoop-score that pulled MSU back into the game.
At the end Lloyd was interviewed for television.
Reporter: "Coach, who made the call to pass on that play?"

Lloyd: "I did."
