ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department will produce a two-and-a-half hour National Signing Day Webcast live from Schembechler Hall on Wednesday, Feb. 5, beginning at 6:30 a.m.

The Inside Michigan Football Signing Day Special, powered by XFINITY, will be hosted by Michigan football radio sideline reporter Doug Karsch and former U-M strong safety Marcus Ray, and will be streamed free of charge on MGoBlue.com.

The show will include behind-the-scenes access, video highlight packages and biographical information on U-M's 2014 signees, as well as interviews with select Michigan players and coaches. Live cameras will give viewers the opportunity to see inside the facility as coaches and administrators gather to process the National Letters of Intent as they come off the fax machine.

Also on Wednesday, Michigan head coach Brady Hoke will hold a 2 p.m. press conference to discuss the newest additions to the Wolverine football program. MGoBlue.com will stream the press conference live and an archive will be available shortly after the event.

In addition to MGoBlue.com, fans can follow Signing Day updates through Michigan Athletics' official Twitter account @umichfootball, and join the Signing Day conversation by using hashtag #UMSigningDay. Fans also can text SIGN to 54815 to receive official up-to-the-minute Signing Day mobile alerts. Message and data rates may apply.

NSD is like a holiday for me so I will be taking the day off and up at 6:30 to watch the show and fill in the class! I know I have problems.

The very first one...will be from Drew Sharp. Book it.

Get ready for a lot of "WEEEEELLLLLLLLLL....this is an exciting day for the young men who chose to come to Michigan. Michigan is a great place and will always be a great place. We're hear to talk about those young men today."

But even if it were not so, the answer will always be, "The University of Michigan does not publically disclose information on disciplinary matters involving students."

It might be possible to add something like, "Disciplinary matters involving students are outside of the scope of the Athletic Department. We are not involved in the University's handling of such matters."

The best you're going to get is general answers like Dave Ablauf gave the Daily, simply confirming Gibbons was at the Athletic Department on December 19. Remember that all of this is the result of documents being leaked to the Daily. The University did not release the information, and thus cannot comment on it, other than to confirm basic facts. I doubt Hoke can even explain his choice of words after December 19, but if he could, it would go something like this: "I couldn't announce that Brendan was no longer a student, because that was not public information. I also couldn't say it was "a violation of team rules," because the Athletic Department was not involved in the decision. In retrospect, it would have been more accurate to say it was a "personal matter" and not "family matters." For that I apologize."

free if you have unlimited (most carriers offer to everyone).   The above poster makes a good point.  The questions will be interesting.  I think Hoke will do a pretty good job at deflecting though.

Everyone will forget about Gibbons when the surprise commit walks in: Da'Shawn Hand.

WTKA's doing a big thing too that day. But everyone should ignore both of those and come to the MGOBLOG SIGNING DAY LIVEBLOG, which will have Brandon Williams and whatever other former players I can get.

Also you can swear.
