I get this weird feeling, probably unjustified, that Urban's crew called such a horrible game last night because they didn't want to tip anything for The Game next week.  I know passing the ball against MSU doesn't/shouldn't really constitute anything tricky... it's just a feeling.

It's like Urban and company were/are gameplanning for UM for 2 weeks instead of gameplanning for MSU then UM.  They assumed they could get by MSU with little specific preparation for that team.

They will be breaking out the tricky/weird stuff just like we will on Saturday.

So you think Urban held things back against MSU, and ultimately lost, snapping a 23-game winning streak, so they beat us next week? You don't think they'd do anything possible to retain their ranking and shot at the CFP again?

Really?

I was there kneeling on the closed end of the stadium, goal line next to the orange foam pylon for the entire game.  I went down with some kids from HS, one had his license.  Our tickets were in the first row of Block O which was the student section.   We moved down to the sideline and watched the game from there.  No one stopped us or even questioned us, including  the Ohio troopers who stood next to us and would chat from time to time.

At one point, Harbaugh threw a pass to McMurtry which skipped oof of the horseshoe turf and flew right past my ear as we got out of the way of the diving players.  Now Cass Tech Coach Thomas Wilcher scored the winning TD right in front of us.

It was a glorious day.  I still have the ticket stub somewhere.

I'm ready to see Pepper's 10yd reception with an additional 50 YAC to put us up 35-10 with 1:50 on the clock. But, I'm not thinking about the game too much...

leading Michigan 29 years later, we're about to see a huge change in the direction of The Greatest Rivalry in Sports, a seismic shift in fortunes. And no, I'm not talking about butting heads with the Illini.
