247sports Comments on Offense

247sports also calls out some wolverines and future wolverines in an article on Best of Day 1, Offense.

While Browne was singled out as having the best day they also mentioned one of Shane's traits that will surprise no one.

- Shane Morris has the best arm on hand, as expected. Not only does his a strength jump out even among a talent group, but his quick arm stands out.

Future UM RB?

1. Derrick Green There were some mixed reviews on Green among the staff. He is strikingly thick for a high school running back which can worry you some as to how he develops and projects but even at that size, he has outstanding feet. Because he is so quick with his cuts and so decisive, he has the skill set to really complement his size well.

Future UM WR?

2. Laquon Treadwell Treadwell has length, speed vertically and the ability to make the spectacular catch. Weather he is out-running defensive backs or out-muscling them, Treadwell proves to be an intimidating threat on the outside.

Does 247 know something we don't on Laquon Treadwell? On his page they have Michigan as "warmer" and the rest at warm or cool. Maybe they are just speculating?

Surprised to not hear any notes on our OLinemen. With such a large group of contestents at multiple positions I figured they'd give notes on more than 3 guys.

I wondered this myself, so I found the list of invites. Kyle Bosch and David Dawson were the only Michigan offensive line commits invited, but then again, there were 18 offensive linemen invited and as you point out, he only wrote about three of them. There are 22 wide reciever prospects listed and he previewed only four of those, so this may not be terribly comprehensive too. Still, I will take two four-star OLs (or five, I believe, in our case for 2013) any day.
