247 Ranks the Rest
247 came out with the rest of their rankings today. Our commits in the top 247 we already knew about. The next batch have MO and Ringer at high 3/borderline 4, the rest are all solid 3's.
Joe Bolden, 90, 4*
Devin Funchess, 90, 4*
Mario Ojemudia, 89, 3*
Kaleb Ringer, 88, 3*
Ben Braden, 87, 3*
Anthony Standifer, 87, 3*
AJ Williams, 86, 3*
Caleb Stacey, 85, 3*
Allen Gant, 84, 3*
Also saw this pic of TP's helmet on the blue board. Enjoy.
Is this spreadsheet somewhere it can be viewed by others?
I just thought it would be interesting to compile, and I haven't seen anything like this posted. Not entirely sure what to do with it, but I want to keep adding to it and I think it could be a useful/interesting item in regards to our recruiting class.
to the useful stuff where we put only the commited players, where we can view the rankings of all 4 sites. That would be nice.
A "2012 Commit List". I would support that addition as well.
247 really has their own viewpoint that is often hugely different from Rivals and Scout. Be fun to see in a few years whose predictions are more accurate. Also, I think that several of our guys are really going to move up in the world before they even sign their LOIs, such as: Brown, Ojemudia, Gant, and Standifer. Always fun to look at the rating though, even if it is just to give me something to rant about.
By making your rankings noticeably different from Rivals and Scout, some schools' commit lists are inevitably going to be far more respected on 247 than on the big two sources. Guess which site fans of those schools are going to suddenly gravitate toward?
I'm amazed how quickly 247 has made the scene. They have already passed ESPN and I bet they will be viewed as even with Scout within a year.
He even tattooed his helmet!!!
That's just plain silly
This would be a separate posting, but I don't have enough Mgopoints to create a a post on my own.
OSU LB Rolle told a Naples, FL news outlet and ESPN Radio that he was offered a "better" car in 2009, but turned down the offer.

What are the numbers that generally go along with the star rankings on 24/7?
5 stars=100-98
4 stars=97-90
3 stars=89-??? (the lowest 3-star I found just by glancing was an 84)
I agree with most of these. I do have slightly higher hopes for Caleb Stacey, though. I think he might move up with a good senior year.
