Alright. Time to take a breath. Breathe-in, Breathe-out. We need to stop talking about this and let the emotions simmer down. This isn't the end of the world. Come back in 24 hours and discuss this.

Actually, the 24-hour rule means the opposite. You get to be giddy over wins and pissed over losses for 24 hours; then you have to get back to business.
You get to be giddy or pissed yes, but you don't post things that are in your mind because of the emotions created by the game. This is especially true when you want to bash the head coach who we all as fans should support as he has clearly demonstrated the program, led by him, is headed in the right direction.
There are two different 24-hour rules. One for the players, one for the fans. The one you speak of is for the players, the one I speak of is for the fans.
Trust me I know what I'm talking about, I've been on an organized team before and we've discussed this countless times after a win or a loss.
your right its not the end of the world only the end of any hope of a meaningful season.
Lets see here, bye bye Jan 1 bowl game :) Bye Bye big ten title :) so lets see here we can look forward tooooooooo....
oh yeah, a side show bowl game and a date with OSU? Next year cant come soon enough! cause then the quest for a national championship and big ten title start all over again.
The rest of this year is now... Lets beat OSU and get these kids some xp.
This is a much needed thread for people to see. To call for RR's head because Denard was in for the last drive is ridiculous and emotional. Tate obviously didn't have his head right, and was a little rattled. They made that clear on the broadcast, and he made that clear with his play and decision making. Tate is going to be a legend at Michigan, but I think this was a great time to teach Tate a lesson about poise, and RR did that. Once again, people, can we just trust the people who get paid the big bucks to handle these situations, and assume they are wiser about these decisions than we are? Go Blue!
I think people can be angry about the lack of discipline on defense and some of the bone-headed plays. What bugs me is that this team could have been 6-0 with some breaks. Yes, they could also have been 2-4 with some breaks going the other way, but it hurts more to lose close games than lose blowouts. That's why the last few years of the Carr admin were so tough - lots of tough losses against inferior teams.
this is the most sensible thing I have seen in the last 15 minutes. I would bet that Brian will have something along these lines soon.
We are not getting blown out and 5 turnovers was the nail in the coffin not the QB switch. When we play a complete game and lose I can understand the complaining but some people need to see this is a young team that is playing with a lot of heart and doesn't quit. We are so close to becoming a good team and I know some of our fan base thinks we should win the BCS every year but give Rich Rod a break the guy is really doing a great job and we will get there very soon.
emotional over-reactions are part of this thing....
Dude this is a blog, folks can speak their mind whether sane or not, but I think for the most part folks are being rational. Besides, I didn't want to go to bed just yet, hehe...
...but I will admit that Coach Rodriguez has more coaching experience than I do.
All this banter and constant new posts on the board immediately after a win and loss is gonna blow this site up. We need to be considerate to the people who are coming here to read the mgoboard and other posts.
I hope this is somewhat addressed because I'd hate to see constant negbanging on people who are just speaking out of emotion and not rational thought. Plus I hate clutter on the board.
