2018-2019 Michigan conference schedule released
So earlier I got the tweet from @umichfootball that the 2018-2019 conference schedules are out. They WERE up on MGoBlue but when I checked back a half hour later to post it here, they were removed and the article said the conference will announce it at noon.
All I remember seeing was Nebraska at home in 2018 to open the conference slate, and at Wisconsin in 2019 to open conference play. The good thing about 2018-2019 is that in 2018 when Michigan is on the road at both rivals, they bring in an SEC team. They travel the following year to Arkansas when they have both rivals at home. Same deal for the VT series.

It's nice to see that they eased the home slate issue of having MSU and OSU on the road by giving us Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Penn State at home in 2018. It would be nice if they can keep that up.

I was going to mention that - I really like the 2018 home slate in comparison to 2019. I believe this is also the same set of years in which we have a home-and-home with Arkansas, and 2018 is the home game, as I recall, so there is also that.

And we'll be entering the 20s. In the 30s and beyond we'll have to specify which 20s we're talking about when bringing up Yost teams.

I downloaded the Big Ten future schedule from the Dienhart article before it was removed. Couple that with the recently published conference schedules for 2018-9 and assuming the eastern division rotation will remain intact through 2023, here's what we know about UM's future schedules.
The Adobe Acrobat file (it's titled as a "working file" dated 15 October) from the Dienhart article lists the home games with no words in front of the team name and road games with the word "at" prior to the team name. For the Florida game to open the 2017 season, it says "vs Florida". That might indicate that it will be a neutral site game (likely the Chick-Fil-A Classic in Atlanta).
The Dienhart file also shows the 2016 file with three games in the first three weeks: Hawaii, Central Florida and Colorado. That's followed with a bye week before Big Ten play.
The current 2016 schedule on MGoBlue.com has Hawaii as the opener, with a bye date, followed by Colorado, Ball State and then the B1G opener in Ann Arbor with Wisconsin. In the Dienhart file, the game with Ball State is moved to the 2018 season. If true, that means Brandon was able to move the bye date from Week #2 of the 2016 season to Week #4. IMHO, that's a much better setup for Michigan.

Michigan has one-and-done deals in the coming years with Brigham Young, Oregon State, Colorado, Hawaii, UNLV, Cincinnati, Southern Methodist, Appalachian State, Ball State and Central Florida. The only home-and-home we're looking at prior to 2018 is with Utah in 2014/5.
Brandon will have to schedule two non-conference home games for each season starting in 2018 through 2023. He already has home-and-home series with Arkansas, Virginia Tech and UCLA for those season.
