2017 LB Josh Ross (brother of James) offered by Oklahoma EDIT: and MSU

Submitted by DISCUSS Man on

2017 St. Mary's LB Josh Ross picked up his first offer today from Oklahoma.

Not too shabby.

Michigan LB James Ross' brother, Joshua, a 2017 (you read that right) prospect was offered by Oklahoma.

Interesting. I saw him Saturday at the game actually. He was on crutches.

Maybe Michigan can double dip on current players brothers in 2017 with Josh Ross and Lavert Hill from Cass Tech.

For what it's worth I saw him play at SMSB and he was very good. Outperformed almost everyone, and most kids had a few years on him. Already looks taller than James, and is very skilled in coverage. Locked down Wheatly Jr. On the one rep I watched them two face. Should be just a matter of time before M comes calling

Believe I saw an analyst say that Joshua has a bigger frame than his brother. If he has his brother's instincts and is a similar athlete, kid should be a stud. Really early though.

So he's played all of 5-6 high school football games?  A lot can happen in 4 years, and it will be 6 or 7 likely before he sees significant playing time.  I think this might be a bit overzealous. When (if?) I have a sun, he had better hold offers before he's out of the womb.
