2017 4-star C Cesar Ruiz Update via Sam Webb

Submitted by CorkyCole on

First contribution for a while, so hopefully this goes swimmingly.

Listened to the Recruiting Podcast on WTKA The Michigan Insider this morning, and I just thought I'd drop a quick note that I found very interesting on Cesar Ruiz.

It looks like Alabama picked up a recent OL commitment named Hunter Brannon and is now focusing on OT, meaning Cesar Ruiz is currently not a take for Alabama barring attrition or Saban's fury over all things Harbaugh. This is important since the battle for Ruiz was mostly a Michigan/Alabama battle according to the experts from what I recall. This doesn't mean he's all Michigan I'm sure, but it can only help. One of the top guys on Michigan's board for OL recruiting. More info can be found on the podcast at https://audioboom.com/boos/4927931-06-recuriting-roundup-081216?playlist_direction=forward&t=0

Also an interesting listen, the first part of the recruiting roundup involves the influence of staffer Greg Harden on recruits and their families - He was a big influence on Rashan Gary's recruitment as well as current LB target Drew Singleton (who may be at the top of Michigan's board for the LB position).

CHECK IT OUT, YO. I felt the itch to post something of contribution, so it was down to either this or a question about what's appropriate as far as length of bathroom break while at the workplace. Hopefully I chose appropriately.

Nope. I have nothing bad to say about winter, spring, summer or fall for that matter. I have lived in Cali, where we had to drive to Tahoe to see snow. I missed winter every year.

Snowmobiles, sleds and fireplace roaring. Quiet winter nights at 2am after a huge snowstorm standing on the back patio and enjoying the beauty of nature.

Man. I love winter.

I don't care if Bama considers hime a 'no-take', he can come to Michigan all day!

But only if he likes spicy mustard on his cod.  (Or whatever the hell that thread was about...)

His Twitter has been all Michigan related the past few days after the news first came out he wasn't a take anymore. After things I've read on the pay sites and that I am thinking he's going blue at this point confidently

What if this is the ultimate troll job by Saban? What if Ruiz is silently committed to Bama? What if he and Saban are planning a Signing Day Troll Job Flip just to punch back at Harbaugh? Guys, its a FUUUUUUCCCKKKKKIIIIIIIIINGGGGG TRAP! Sabans gonna come out with a commercial on ESPN on signing day, and he's just gonna ask the question into the camera, "You really think I wouldn't take the top center in the country?", and him and YouTooCesar will be laughing while they both throw up one finger. Holy shit, this could get bad.
