At this rate we'll be at 30 for this class. I counted 27 if we land everyone we lead for. Head scratching to say the least. No way you turn away the number 1 player in the class.

If seems like you bitch and moan for every single kid that might commit or has committed that isn't a 4 star.  Do you not like this kid because you yourself are a great talent evaluator or because you see a single number next to their name and assume you know everything there is to know about the kid?

How about instead of analyzing every kid by a single number, you start thinking for yourself and develop a much more informed opinion of the kid before you pass judgement based on the 'star rating'.  For instance, what are the kids offers? What is the actual scouting on the kid? Does this kid fit our scheme? Has this kid attended recent camps? If so, how did he do? Have the coaches been able to study just his film or have they also had the opportunity to see him in person? Also, if he is a three-star, is he a low 3-star, or he is just a couple of positional players away from being a four-star? What are the kid's weaknesses? Are these things that can coached up or not?

I think if you go through each of those questions and form your own informed opinion for these recruits you might find yourself not being so unhappy about the lack of stars attached to their name. End rant.

While getting all these visits is great, I hope we leave room for any of the remaining top kids that want in.

I know Harbaugh knows what he's doing, but if Rashan Gary wanted in, I'd hate to lose out on him because the class filled up too fast. You never turn top kids like that away.

If he cannot win 9 or more games these top recruits we lead with may go with other teams. May be he would rather take kids who are a sure bet to stick with the program no matter the record in 2015. But if the opposite happens and Harbaugh wins 10 or 11 games then all these top kids are going to want to play here and there may not be any room left for them!
