I think Fitzpatrick might flip at any point. I have a hard time believing he'll stick with Louisville as long as Michigan (or others) keeps giving him attention.

As for the other guys, I don't see any of them committing. I think King is going to let his recruitment play out, and Michigan is too far behind with Pryts for now to expect him to commit.

The other guys aren't deciding anytime soon, and we'll have a battle on our hands for them, anyway.

A lot of it has to do with their school schedules. Sure, more people would want to see a spring game, but they won't necessarily have spring break options at that point, so they might have to miss school. It's also Easter weekend on April 4, so families might not want to be away from home.

This weekend starts spring break for some people, so they're off all next week and go back April 6.

For others, spring break won't start until April 2 or 3 and then they'll have a few days off after Easter.

Anyway, the visitor list for the spring game is already pretty good, and it will probably get better. It won't have the #1 player in the country, but it includes at least 7 offered prospects so far.

If UM gets out of the gate very strong this year and appears to be trending in the right direction, I feel they will have no trouble getting in top guys. I also feel that the Harbaugh effect will have it's greatest impact in the 2016 and 2017 classes.

I never see the recruiting picture as one recruit.  That's not being negative on Rashan Gary in any way.  He should do what's best for him, even if that includes visiting That Place.

What I expect is that Harbaugh and his staff will shape Michigan such that going to Michigan IS what's best for Rashan Gary, and other recruits.  If they see that, as Harbaugh himself said, Michigan will NOT be hard sell.

Ain't worried.

We've been mediocre at best for six out of the past seven years, which is an eternity for kids who are 17-18 years old. Most of them don't give a crap about 1997 or 1980 or even 2006—that's ancient history to them. They're as likely to think of The Horror as anything else when it comes to Michigan football, because that's gotten as much media attention as anything positive since then.

If we win 9 or more games and beat OSU and MSU, that will break the seal, but I don't expect to land many elite kids before the 2015 season is finished.

Many (even myself a little) expected some kind of immediate jump in commits. I honestly thought we'd have a QB by now if nothing else & even that's crazy to assume. Heck, at the same time I was saying what you just said but I still thought someone big would jump already. Again, crazy as I'm logical enough to realize we're not sniffing the playoffs right away lol. "Right away" is changing the mentality of the entire program back to one of remembering who we are. It's been so long & nobody on this roster has had to be great as the expense of so much as a cold stare when bad or being stuck up for when crap is dumped on them. It's really not one player but this staff inherited a team that is generally clueless on how to win at this level.
