I guess I noticed all the blondes, but my reaction was more like.. "These blonde chicks all look like clones.".. Didn't make the other connection (if it is even true, it certainly isn't relevant)

Me too (was about to do the same).  Somewhat surpised (happily surprised I must add) that the Browns actually excercised patience and did NOT pay the kings ransom to get Mariotta.

The Raiders have drafted only 5 Wolverines ever.

  • Ed Muransky, 1982
  • Brad Cochran, 1986
  • Matt Dyson, 1995
  • Charles Woodson, 1998
  • Stevie Brown, 2010

So far this thing is going chalk per the experts.  Who will be the first team to leave the farm and reach for somebody?

Trust me if nobody's fucked up by the 12th pick my Browns are definitely ready for the challenge.

interesting that there have been no trades so far.  And, so far, nobody has obviously botched a pick yet.

My Browns wait eagerly at 12 to do something stupid.  Something that will have the talking heads at ESPN and the NFL network looking at each other and shake their heads.

This is our moment.  This is what we do.

I'm afraid for TB and Winston. Even if Winston keeps his nose clean, he has absolutely no one on his OL to protect him. The Bucs OL is atrocious, and they did absolutely nothing to address it in free agency.

I'm afraid he could get beat up next year like Hackenberg was for Penn State this year.

They can get someone in the 2nd round, maybe the 3rd round, but beyond that, you can't expect someone to immediately push for a starting spot on the OL. And the problem is their entire line is an f-ing mess.

I'm just shocked they did nothing to address it in free agency. Winston could get beaten like a damn drum next year.

Which is why I'd go back to back on the OL in the 2nd and 3rd round. Then go RB in the 4th and give him another weapon.

I feel when you draft a QB with the top picks, you need to draft all offense in that draft and build that side of the ball and let them grow together. The following year you can make up for it and go heavy on D.

A distinct lack of shockers thus far, at least in my own opinion. Jets fans were pleased with their first round pick, which I don't think has happened in forever.

I am laughing at the boos and jeers each time Goodell comes out on stage - this mainly because he absolutely deserves them, of course, and indeed, he really needs to be booed on sight throughout the United States. I am a little disappointed that he hasn't done the David Stern thing where you look at the crowd with "bring it, bring it, I am the commissioner and you are not" look.
