Bill Walton taking shots at Michigan for some reason on ESPN. Because UCLA has won so many big games in the recent years. What a joke!

After the M game, I flipped over to the UCLA-Arizona game, which was tied at the time.  Despite that, I turned it off when I realized Walton was announcing.  His antagonism towards Webber was the beginning of the end for me and Bill

Clutch shot by Walton a the end there, but it's starting to become a trend with him missing clutch free throws down the stretch. He needs to get that fixed ASAP.

To be fair, I watched him clang a couple of FTs in the first half as well, so... at least he is consistent?

He is what, a 70% FT shooter?  He should be better than that, especially if he is going to take the ball at the end of close games.

B1G Win tonight Nebraska played a hell of a game. Scrappy bunch GRIII has turned a corner and become an aggressive player out there. Trash taking, posting up, playing like a man after his 20th bday. This kid is going to be special baby! (So sick of Dickie V) Stauskas and Morgan running the pick and roll gave me flashbacks to JMo and DMo making it happen. Passing over the top to create easy buckets. Love it. Derrick Walton needs a moniker. Thoughts? Keep it rolling baby. Snowflakes! That is all

17 points/5 rebounds.  With GRIII, frontcourt put up 36 points on lights-out shooting.   Woud love to have more than 9 rebounds from that crowd, but as we play the more physical teams in the conference, would help if we can continue to get that kind of production.

Love it!

Thank 2014, for reminding me what it feels like to win a close game rather than being on the other side.
I'll happily take a road win in the BIG ten any day.

This team needs to shore up its defense - particularly in keeping other teams out of the lane.  Nebraska scored on what seemed like 10 straight posessions down the stretch and most of those were layups.  We did play good D on Petteway on the last posession but did not box out - frankly we are lucky their guy missed a bunny tip in...

That said, win's a win and on to the next one! Coach B please fix the D!

That cheap foul on Morgan that put Nebraska on the line for one and one late is the same way we lost to Arizona. I don't know how you call that if you are a ref when its 20 feet from the basket.

On another note, that was a pretty good game and Nebraska played pretty well. I'm glad M found a way to win down the stretch even if it may have been a bit harder than originally expected.

I was in the fetal position with 9 seconds left after the timeout. And lo, the basketball gods have shown favor upon us. Thank you, basketball gods, for not condemning us to death by backboards and buzzer beating top ins. It's totally because I ate lamb for dinner

GR3 - beast mode activated... and has been for about 6 games now.  Today was the complete package, though.

Some costly turnovers late, but then that and-1 from Walton was huge.

We're still struggling at keeping perimeter players out of the paint... I wonder if some 1-3-1 will be in the future against the better teams.

What do you mean by perimeter players? If the player is a perimeter player then they aren't really looking to be effective in the paint (by definition). So are perimeter players becoming drivers/paint players as a result of bad defense that allows them to be something they really aren't or is the use of perimeter not the best choice here?
