Nothing else goes up on weekends.
For the record: I read no malice in your comment either. In fact I was wondering as well. In a sense this was a game and you usually get posts up immediately after a game... of course this was a spring game that wasn't even much of a scrimmage, so I understand...
don't let the MGODBs get you down.
love,

i with u enjoy the fact that kickoff a in 144 days
Thanks. It was what I kind of expected from a spring game.
Is there any way to see a video of the full Spring Practice? This is just what the Big Ten Network showed, which as most know by now that they prematurely ended their broadcast when we were still scrimmaging. I have no idea how much longer the scrimmage lasted after they went off air, but we were still running plays when they hastily said goodbye on tv.
gets it.
I was at the spring game this year and had some questions. I'm not as knowledgeable about the scheming and what not when it comes to football. Ive seen comments on here about Jourdan Lewis bumping Countess to the nickel when they go into the nickel defense, but what I saw was Lewis and Taylor as the starting corners and Countess ONLY came on the field in the nickel? Am I seeing that wrong?
Also, is there a reason that Darboh didn't touch the field? Was good seeing Canteen get a lot of reps but it seems strange that Darboh didn't get any reps at all. Is his injury still an issue or did it put him that far behind. Sorry if these have been addressed but I haven't seen them anywhere.
Yes, that's exactly the reason. He's running and practicing, but no contact yet. The same thing applies to Pipkins, and one or two others. They just haven't fully recovered from their injuries and surgery sufficiently to go back to contact. We won't really know anything about what they can do until fall practice.
Thanks, that's more or less what I was guessing/hoping was the case.
Was wondering about Darboh, too. I really want to see what he can do---last season was a disappointment from the start, and Darboh's injury seemed to be the first domino that fell the wrong direction for us.
I'm hoping he can be 100% by fall, as it looked like he might be the "next" Junior Hemmingway going into last season.
2 things that were glaring to me:
1. We didnt have a single touchdown in the whole practice ...did we?
2. when did funchess become 6' 4'' from 6' 5 '' - 6''?
