2014-specific tips on Michigan Stadium ticket-buying

[I suspect I'm not the only one with this interest and hope the topic is as worthwhile for others as I consider it.]

With the student section making a major transition this year in terms of priority system and population, I find it difficult to pinpoint exactly where they'll be by section and row. As a semi-recent alumnus (2006), my preference is to stand in a section immediately adjacent to the students (immediately to the sideline of them). Or, though I can hardly even believe they won't extend to Row 100, I might not mind sitting in the big swath behind them.

But--WITH THESE NEW CHANGES--where exactly is that? And, if I mess up and get tickets within the student section, will I have to go to the Michigan Union ticket office to buy one of those $20 "I'm a non-student with a student ticket" stickers? Do they still do that? I'm searching Stubhub for two tickets to the PSU game and answering these questions is fundamental to my next step.

And I believe my knowledge base on this is, as of the end of last season, suddenly out of date.

I think you can get the stickers at student will call by Section 9 (I think it is Section 9) in the stadium itself too, but yeah, wherever you get them, it is the student that has to present their ID and pay the fees as far as I understand. The validtion prices are usually buried somewhere in the football site but I wouldn't think they've been announced yet.

StubHub cannot list/sell student tickets, and I think that applies to most of the other StubHub-esque sites as well.

I got Section 33 for PSU game from VividSeats knowing how close that is to student section, and will be quite pissed if I need a student ticket validation
