2014 NBA Draft Open Thread
Will tonight be the first time since 1990 where Michigan has a trio of first rounders?
Will the Pistons take a Wolverine if one is available?
Will Jordan Morgan sneak in the draft?
John Beilein said he will wait out all 60 picks to see if JMo gets drafted.
I somehow think this kind of tells his intentions though.
Baylor has offered Isaiah Austin a coaching job and Adam Silver has offered him a job with the NBA after he earns his degree.

Michigan's Glenn Robinson is a strong consideration for Oklahoma City at No. 29, but no decision yet, league sources tell Yahoo.

Now he is saying they decided to pass.Rumors are GRIII might join Mitch in OKC...
A lot of wings hanging out there for the Pistons. Would be nice to get any one of them.
Jynx.
Dang it. Not GRIII to OKC. Looks like he might go in the 2nd round.
Still holding out hope for him in the first
Beilein yet. I think GRIII is going to be 2nd round.
Come on SA. Come on.
SA takes Kyle Anderson.
Wow, there's a guy from Cape Verde who's Kiper's #8 available. This is the only time I've ever heard Cape Verde even mentioned outside of trivia settings
Dammit, I was really hoping GR3 would do it.
near 100% he would go in the first next year. too bad.
Unfortunately, we have to debate now whether GRIII made the right move going pro. The difference between being a 1st and 2nd-rounder is huge in terms of contract security and guaranteed money.
He would have to step it up or he could have fallen even more because the "potential" is helping him this year.
I think he should have come back but you never know.
Kyle Anderson is waaaay better than GRIII.
Kyle really has to shave that beard thing, I don't think he's shaved since high school.
Some pretty good players left.
I'd take GRIII, Ejim (Iowa State), or Stokes from Tenn
I thought the deputy commish was choking there for a second, B Rabbit style.
Philadelphia has been fond of Michigan's Glenn Robinson III. They're picking next at No. 32.

Damn
He should have gone pro a year ago when he was a lottery pick if he was looking to maximize his draft stock.
Joe Harris.
Cleveland with Joe Harris and New York with Cleanthony Early. Damn, that sucks for Detroit.
GRIII wont make it to the Pistons now with a run of wings off the board.
Maybe Spencer Dinwiddie or another wing who can shoot.
Cleanthony Early
would be cool if GR3 ends up with burke in Utah. Sad to see he's rumored in every pick for the last 5 but no one is pulling the trigger
Jarnell Stokes
have a shot at him.
O'Bryant
Woj reporting Jarnell stokes to the Jazz and Johnny O'Bryant to the Bucks.
Toronto and then Detroit with GRIII still on the board.
Pistons drafting Spencer Dinwiddie per Woj.
Dinwiddie
Things could have been different. In my dream DETROIT scenario:
PG - Trey Burke
SG - Stauskas
SF (not starting yet) - GRIII
PF - Monroe/Josh Smith, make a miracle trade with the other
C - Drummond.
The crazy thing is that these all could have been very close to happening, and if Det would have drafted Trey Burke last year, as must of us were begging/assuming, the SG and SF picks would be natural next picks.
Don't fuck this up guys. Please.
