2014 Hoops recruit James Blackmon to visit

Per UMHoops.com. 2014 recruit already holds a UofM offer will visit next weekend.

Blackmon is the extremely talented player who verbal led to Indiana after his freshman year and then backed out last year. He's being recruited by every big program out there. It would be a coup to land this guy.

I don't think it's really known.  Beilein has been recruiting Booker for years and he's said it's a close relationship with the Michigan staff.  I was feeling really good about him until he started taking visits around even after Michigan's National Championship game run.   He's a smart kid taking his time to make the right choice, but I feel like UofM should have landed him by now.  I can't imagine what else Beilein can show him that he doesn't already know.

Blackmon Jr. is different because he committed to IU so early teams pretty much stopped recruiting him.  Now it appears wide open, but I haven't heard any kind of time table for his decision.  The fact that this is his 2nd or 3rd visit in a month is a really good sign though.

He's silky smooth with the ball, and he's got that Indiana jump shot:

he was here the last day of august according to 247 sports, so if he was really here last weekend and now coming back for his official visit that makes 3 visits in the span of a month. We may not be in the best position all things considered but it doesnt seem like he hates coming to michigan at all.

The school he currently attends has put out some good talent historically (especially the past few years), including Anthony Spencer (NFL Cowboys), Rod and Jaylon Smith (OSU and ND, respectively), Deshaun Thomas (OSU) to name a few.
Not exactly a massive pipeline, but they seem to have a great D1 prospect every other year, or so. Wouldn't hurt getting that foot in the door.
