*B1G Conference Game
^if applies
$ in Brooklyn, NY
(lol) at them even suggesting Michigan-ohio will be on BTN. Unless ohio is awful, there's no way it's not on CBS.

Rutgers is the last home game? Ugh, pretty uninspiring.
September 18th, 2014 at 3:09 PM ^
Big rematch of the 2004 NIT title game. In fact, the only reason Rutgers wanted to join the Big Ten is to avenge that loss.

God this feels like it was an entire lifetime ago. Just look at that roster.
Also: Angry Bernard Robinson, Jr.

I anxiously await the thread from you that will tell us the EXACT time of the Minnesota, WIsc, and Ohio games.
September 18th, 2014 at 2:54 PM ^
Man, knowing there are now 14 B1G teams, looking at the confernce portion of that schedule and it is just looks paltry compared to how many conference games there could/should be.

You know I love you WD but is this the 15th or 16th thread you've created since you announced you wouldnt have time to create threads anymore?
September 18th, 2014 at 2:59 PM ^
In light of CRex ceasing to create threads about his Korean in-laws, I'd love for WD to make frequent diaries on his college experiences
September 18th, 2014 at 3:07 PM ^
Do we really want to read five-paragraph essays on WD sitting in his dorm room on his Michigan comforter, portraits of Bo and such staring at him from the walls, filling out his stat binders while his roommates are out doing what college students do?
Actually, that could be kinda fun. I'd read it.

You kind of suck. Give the kid a break, he is doing what makes him happy, just because it's not your idea of a good time doesn't make it bad. Especially since you seem like such a miserable person who is a big fan of being in the band (something plenty of people make fun of) you should probably stop being such a sad person.

That was before my first day of college. We do all our work in the 'lab/studio. The only thing even resembling homework that I've gotten so far is going out buying materials for class.
Schedules are something I've been on top of for a long time. I make my own schedules on Fireworks, print it out and mark it as the season goes on.
The schedule being compoleted today mixed with a squirrel wandering into the building wreaking havoc and me getting a B on my first college test, today has been pretty good.
Also, here's a detail from my college experiences so far. I don't like talking about things like that but I've been making the most of this college thing so far.

College protip: Eat the burritos. All of them. Because ten years from now when you look at a burrito and all you can see are those five extra pounds on your midsection you can't get rid of...
September 18th, 2014 at 3:21 PM ^
Depends on what you put that oversized tortilla. I feel healthy after a solid qdoba outing.
Salaryman protip: avoid the gas station burritos.

Need details on the chick.
September 18th, 2014 at 4:42 PM ^
I've seen her 3-4 times now. She likes teasing me about my fandom but likes that I'm so dedicated.
September 18th, 2014 at 5:49 PM ^
that part was quite traumatizing...
September 18th, 2014 at 5:53 PM ^
to the fullest; you'll be surprised how fast time goes by.
September 18th, 2014 at 3:00 PM ^
So we still can't call 'em Ohio State or Michigan State? That's still a thing?
September 18th, 2014 at 3:17 PM ^
was doing the "Ohio" thing as part of the thing, but I took it that he was just too lazy to write Michigan in front of State. I thought if he was doing the thing it would likely have been "Staee."
September 18th, 2014 at 3:25 PM ^
The *BEAT O-HI-O (clapclap-clapclapclap)* chant would be so awkward if these guys get their way. Try tacking on "STATE" at the end of it. Too cumbersome.
September 18th, 2014 at 3:30 PM ^
So if I'm looking at this right, the Big Ten games we don't play:
HOME: Indiana, Maryland*, Penn State, Purdue
AWAY: Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin
And the teams we play twice: Illinois, MSU, Northwestern, OSU, Rutgers
We avoid some of the tougher road games (and venues), which is nice.
*The 2/28 Maryland game is actually @ Maryland.
September 18th, 2014 at 4:03 PM ^
I was hoping someone would lay it out like this actually as it is condensed somewhat, and yes, there are a few games that aren't there, if you will, which will hopefully reduce overall stress on the road somewhat. Wisconsin at the Kohl Center is playing on the event horizon of the black hole from basketball cannot escape, so not going there is a bonus.

So the Semi-final and Final are almost a week apart?
September 18th, 2014 at 4:19 PM ^
No, but thanks for pointing that mistake out to me.
September 18th, 2014 at 4:53 PM ^
I wasn't trying to be a dick. I was really surprised by that b/c it's definitely something I can see ESPN doing.
September 18th, 2014 at 5:45 PM ^
You are to be commended. Games begin in November, man that's almost around the corner...
