I enjoyed it as I enjoy just about every hype video on this site.  Just curious why that other qb didn't get any air time (you know the really fast one, can't think of his name)?  Limited game footage available or just a big Gardner fan?

It's so unfair.  Darrell Bevell got to play seventeen years at Wisconsin, Ralph Bolden got to play eight years at Purdue (one less than Robbie Hummel) and it feel like McGloin has been Penn State's QB since the Carr era.  Why can't we have just one more year of Denard?

Vince Young was always a terrific runner, but an awful passer until his final (junior) season at Texas, when Young became merely an okay passer--but with outstanding receivers to help him out.  I think Gardner's passing skills are already superior to anything Young ever demonstrated at Texas.  But while Gardner is an effective runner, he doesn't make people look silly like Young did.

then I might as well say that Denard reminds me of Michael Vick, cuz they're both black QBs and fast.

Devin's a great athlete, but he's not remotely close to Young running with the ball, especially when it comes to speed; VY was a legit track star in high school, winning two district 400m relay championships, and I've never found any evidence that Gardner was even on the track team. Devin's a mcuh better thrower at this stage in his career than Young was, and the highlights of this season I just watched show that Devin is far less likely to take off with the ball if the first read isn't there than VY was; Devin does a great job of using his legs and mobility to find time and an open receiver. Young takes off at the first opportunity, and for good reason.

FYI,  Vince Young ran a 4.58 40 just prior to the NFL draft.  Not exactly setting the world on fire with his speed.

The only 40 time I could find on Gardner was from his scout recruiting profile that listed him at 4.63.  Thats really not a huge difference especially considering VY had the benefit of a college S&C program.

I have to be totally honest and confess that I was extremely dubious of Gardner's abilities at QB before the 2012 season. I thought he would make a very good wide receiver, possibly of the #1 variety. I can't believe how much my feelings have changed after 5 games. I think we have one of the top 2 QBs in the B1G.

Ummm, ratchet that up to top five in FBS champ...he is the real deal! Gardner has what it takes to destroy opposing hearts and make dreams come true on the gridiron. Now, he needs to make better decisions, and a lot depends on the Oline but we could have something special.

The wet blankets who throw Borges and his schemes under the bus are dumbasses and haven't been paying attention to how genius his schemes are against top or good defenses. Re-watch those early 2012 games, and picture Gardner doing what should have been done, we are a 10 win team at minimum.

We can shred the BIG if the Oline comes together and get a respectable running game. Believe!

Borges and his epic scheme decided 70 yards in the second half vs ohio was a great idea. He thought running up the middle on short yardage wing Vince smith was a good idea, and he thought using Denard as a decoy was a bad idea.

I don't hate Al but I hate not making adjustments and I hate being conservative unless the game or situation calls for it. I sincerely hope the talent we have will allow Al to call anything and look like a genius.

My word, Devin is a talented quarterback.  Imagine what he can look like next year if we have a running attack.  (It was nice to be reminded of how good Fitz can be, in that one outlet pass early in the tape.)

Now, let's get back to cheering for our basketball team, the effective #1 team in the country tonight!

I think if the cards fall right and we have our health.......this team could be a surprise force next year. Bully ball will be the recipe and Gallon is an electric playmaker that can change the game at any moment. I expect the defense to dominate next year as well. Wormley...strobel...Clark...Beyer...Black...Washington....Pipkins....Poggi....Ash....that's a solid group that I think can dominate the B1G.

Fucking awesome video. Not my type of song, but it fits so perfect. The new age. So pumped for this team. Looking forward to watching so many Michigan videos that my wife starts bitching about wanting football to over. And it will only be June.

I think this was a great video, and indeed, very forward-looking based on the clips used. I really liked how it went silent for a moment right before the Demens hit, because standing where I was at the time in the stadium, that's exactly how it felt. Brought back some great memories of this past season as well as made me look forward to this coming one. Thanks for sharing.

The first two clips were the best. On another note can anyone confirm if Gardner actually received his medical redshift? If not when will we know?
