2013 4* Jay-nard Bostwick to visit in January

Submitted by ypsituckyboy on

Per 247, looks like 4* Jay-nard Bostwick will vist in January. http://michigan.247sports.com/Board/59424/Quick-update-on-Jay-nard-Bostwick-15144599/1

He's got offers from, like, everyone. I would love to see him in this class. We need to add another DT in my opinion. Not sure if others agree.

Offers from Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Florida, FSU, Notre Dame....and he's listed as the 27th best DT in the country and 24th best player in the state of Florida, regardless of position. Wow. Florida is stacked.

It seems that Alabama offers everyone. Why would Alabama offer the #24 DT? Don't they lock up the top 3 every year?

He's the classic elite-level DL from the south that everybody up north in A2 convinces themselves we have a legit shot for, only to be disappointed again.

This is the time of year where Hoke isn't finishing well, at least in his short history. Given the two classes he has brought in, we could do worse. Not optimistic for anyone big coming except Green. I feel like many that Smith will end up being as good if not better.

You have exactly one recruiting cycle to base that statement on, and in December/January/February last year, he pulled in two 4-stars (Darboh, Norfleet) and two 3-stars (Chesson, Henry).

Michigan just grabbed commitments from one elite prospect (Dawson) and a near-consensus 4-star (Hill), and you even admit that there's a good chance that he'll pull in a 5-star (Green).  Even if that's it, a 5-star and two 4-stars in the last couple months of the recruiting cycle is pretty good.

So if by "Hoke isn't finishing well" you mean "I really have no clue what I'm talking about," then yeah, I might agree.

I'm so confused on why everyone says Hoke can't get the big time guys. Good lord look at the last two recruit classes all in the top 10. Plus a lot of freshman this year contributed. His recruit class is way better this year then the first and it's only continuing to grow. Lay off the dude, he is doing something special wait till his guys are all on the field.
