2011-12 College Football Bowl Schedule

Submitted by The Mick on

No really hot off the press, but I did not see it posted: ESPN published the 2011 - 2012 bowl schedule and since three B1G vs. SEC bowls take place in Florida on the same day, i.e. 1/2/12 (Outback, Capital One, Gator), I was wondering if you guys expect Michigan to participate in any of them.

The reason I'm asking is because I might take my chances and book a flight from Europe to Florida hoping to see Michigan play.

Cant you wait until like late October or early November and still get a decent fare? I think 2-3 months ahead of time is already as cheap as it's going to get and you might have a lot better indicator of where this team is headed 8-10 games into the season instead of randomly speculating.

I don't think there's a BSC Championship Game team in the Big Ten this year. If I had to go down the list with actual money it would probably be:

Rose: Nebraska

Capital One: Wisconsin

Gator: Michigan

Outback: Northwestern

Insight: PSU

Texas: MSU

TicketCity: Iowa

This is assuming OSU won't be in a bowl game this year. If they are then I'd give them a shot at anything between the Rose, BCS at-large and the Capital One.

Good thing I have three 50" tvs in my living room -

You all will have to sit and channel surf like normal people at 1pm e.t. on 1/2/12 to watch the three Big 10 games

My hopes are the same as every year.  If they are "not ready for prime time," I want them to end up in the Outback Bowl becuase I live about 20 miles from the stadium.  This probably won't be a BCS bowl year, so the Outback would make me extremely happy.
