karpodiem is a lot like Hot Dog Man. except he shows up the day after the game and doesn't have any hot dogs. other than that, they're like the same person.

Thats a huge file, price you pay for 720p I guess.

I encoded it last night, but the bitrate was too low and it was grainy. Might still upload without commercials and broke into quarters.

A little late, but I uploaded my personal copies of the game broken down by quarter without the scrollbar or commercials. These are the ones I save on my computer because they are only about 550mb each.

I registered for the site, but never got the confirmation e-mail (I checked my spam folder; it's not there). Any idea how I get in touch with the mods?

Does anyone have any tips for speeding up the download process?
Sorry, I know nothing about downloading torrents.

Are you behind a router and if so have you forwarded your port?

Wait until more people seed...don't worry, eventually there will be plenty of people on the tracker and dl speeds should pick up. Also, once you've finished your download, leave your torrent program running so people can seed off you.

You're welcome, Karpo. Enjoy everybody!

just to give you an idea of how much traffic we're doing, swarm is currently pushing around 12-14mb/second, aggregate. Maybe more, that's just a very conservative guess.

THANK YOU!!!!! I forgot the DVR the game yesterday, and no one was home to do it for me.

LOL one uploader and 67 downloaders. Love it.

KTorrent sez my share ratio is 1+, so I've sent more up than I've gotten down.

Is it possible to get a lower quality version in the future? I LOVE the 720p HD quality, but these will fill up my harddrive real quick.
September 5th, 2010 at 12:15 PM ^
It's only 5 gigs...but if that's too much, you can downgrade the quality yourself with any number of free programs. VirtualDub has worked well for me in the past.

You may want to invest in an external 1-1.5TB drive for around $80-$100

Sorry I don't know a lot about different video formats, but will a torrent eventually be available in the dvd image .iso format?
It seemed like these stopped being available after the Eastern game last year, but I liked it because they were easy to burn straight to a dvd which my dvd player could play. Or can the mp4 format do this just as well?
September 5th, 2010 at 4:15 PM ^
I can't speak for Karpodiem, but torrents don't usually come in .iso format...just download the .mpg and use a program like Nero, Easy CD Creator, or any of these free (or cheap) options to make an .iso of and burn the file to disk.

On most TV type trackers I've been a part of, usually, there is a 720p torrent uploaded, and a lower resolution like 360p.
It's frustrating that a lower resolution isn't available. It wasn't available on the MGoVideo site either, which is why I never participated in that site. My video card sucks and literally can't handle 720p, it freezes every 5 seconds and so there's no point in even downloading it. Also I don't want to spend 5 GB on a single game.
For these reasons, tbh, unless a lower definition is uploaded u guys are going to alienate a lot of people from using what otherwise could be a really awesome torrent tracker.
Just my $0.02

Just want to say that I requested an SD upload of M-UConn on BTT and another member kindly obliged in uploading one. I'm optimistic this will be a really cool BT tracker/community and would encourage other members from here to sign up and get involved.
If there are any BT n00bz here that have reservations about giving it a try, I'd encourage you to do so. I'll be willing - as I'm sure will others - to help anyone out if they post questions in the BTT forum.
