Mike Lantry for one. My life sucked at this moment. Joe Paterno doing the game with Keith Jackson, thinks the kick was good Bogus headline if there ever was one

The offensive line appears to be a lot bigger as well.. we have multiple guys over 300, and Q Wash just over 300 (which is good to see).

Weird and slightly scary (and by slightly I mean incredibly) class distribution: FR/RS FR: 29 players, 29.3% SO/RS SO: 29 players, 29.3% JR/RS JR: 29 players, 29.3% SR/RS SR: 12 players, 12.1% Dear Freshmen: Please be good at football. Love, El Jeffe

listed as a safety. I think that makes sense. I believe we have enough in the slot with Odoms, Roundtree and Gallon and we could use Jones' speed at the deep saftey, especially with Woolfolk playing corner. Man, we will have a ton of safeties after the true freshman arrive.

Jones is playing strong safety. Woolfolk playing corner in the spring makes more sense when you realize that the only other corners on the roster are Turner and Floyd. We have four corners coming in the fall, but none enrolled early. Woolfolk can play corner in the spring and let the other safeties get some reps. When it comes time for fall, Woolfolk could very well end up at safety again and let the young corners take over. I still feel we're better off with him playing center field.

Interesting that Woolfolk is still listed at CB. I really think he needs to be back to Deep Safety for our Defense to play it's best, but maybe they will only feel safe with that switch after the spring?

Interesting that Brandin Hawthorne is listed as a Safety. It can't be a terminology difference because Mike Jones is still listed as a linebacker. Troy Woolfolk at CB makes sense when you see that he has also lost 7 pounds. Woolfolk at CB with Turner, and Hawthorne as a safety could be a way to get a tiny bit more experience/depth at those positions, especially if Mike Jones is playing well... makes me more concerned about spinner though.

Walk on from last fall: "Floyd’s Tom Lindley, the recipient of the Bob Zellner Award as Suffolk’s top offensive lineman, will attend Michigan as a 'preferred walk-on.' According to Floyd coach Paul Longo, Lindley received some financial aid for academics and is guaranteed a spot on the football team, where he will redshirt as a freshman. If he does well, he will be considered for a full athletic scholarship the next year." He is not on the spring list, fire up the Freep presses!
