That hype video had to use tons of 10- and 20-yard runs to fill the time ... after that, they started becoming commonplace and we'd hardly think to include those in the annual hype video.  Thankfully 2008 is over.

in 2009. Nothing would of ruined Sparty's year worse than losses to CMU and UM. Everytime I think of 2009 I think of that MSU game and every time I catch myself screaming DON'T THROW IT TATE. but it happens. The memories. The horrific memories.

and Tate held both his arms ups like a TD signal before the play was run.  When the pick was thrown my heart sank.  Then I had to put up with a Sparty fan poking me in my chest and another one yelling Tate can suck this on the way out. Had my kid with me so I had to just take it and use it as a teaching lesson in how not to act in victory.

Man… BuzzFeed, to steal a phrase from ESPN, really is Now.

Anywho, it's pretty cool to see something I made hold up this well. Makes me wish I would have taken the time to put one together this year (spoiler: it would have been much less depressing through the A block)

You are risking the ire of the football gods with comments like that. If Arizona beats Oregon by some miracle and we lose to nd the boards will implode into a dystopian nightmare that pits the acolytes of rrod against the hokemaniacs

I think I had literally blocked out most of the memories of that 2008 season. I was watching that video and honestly did not remember a lot of the plays or games shown in it.

Wow.  That really was a great video.  Never saw it until today, probably because I was just a semi-regular lurker back then.  And even now, the only reason I stumbled across it is that its another slow day on MGoBlog 3.0, a work-in-progress that need A LOT MOAR progress, and out of boredom I just started clicking links on the bottom of the page and found some biographical inyervinte posted several years ago by Six Zero.
