Stauskas is playing like an All American lately. This team seems to get better as the year goes. Very solid performance tonight. Hope they can keep it going.

Given the result I will continue to stay away. However, I will donate half of my MGoPoints to the user that posts the full game to Youtube and links it here (already saw the Wisconsin game, so that doesn't count).

Well, "officially," it's the first time since 1979, according to this article:

Coming off a 77-70 win at Wisconsin on Saturday, the Wolverines notched their first back-to-back wins over opponents ranked in the Top 10 since beating No. 5 North Carolina and No. 2 Kansas on Dec. 29 and 30, 1992.

(Since those wins aren't in the record books due to NCAA sanctions, the last time U-M "officially" beat back-to-back top 10s was Jan. 25 and Jan. 27, 1979, over No. 4 Michigan State and No. 8 Illinois.)

Unless I missed it in the record book, the only time Michigan has played top 10 teams in back-to-back-to-back games was in December 1963 (as I posted above). They won the first two and then lost the third.

Dec. 21, 1963 — beat #5 Duke 83-67

Dec. 26, 1963 — best #10 New York University 83-74

Dec. 27, 1963 — lost to #4 UCLA 98-80

Michigan was ranked #3 for all three games.
