Been traveling etc. all day, now following this one online. Looked like a solid W in the early game. 9 first inning runs is a good way to send a message. I'd like to see us tack on a few more here too.

Interesting to see Ramirez getting another game high in the batting order. I pegged her as one to watch pre-season. She's great in the 9-hole, but her on-base and her speed are good enough to warrant a look high in the order. Gives us a more conventional set-up, too, since she can play that speedy slapper role a lot of teams like in the 1 & 2 spots. Typical of Hutch to tinker early on; we'll see what happens over the course of the season.

That's Betsa-ball. Obviously NC State isn't the greatest team, but if she can start working back to those big K counts, then that's a good sign.

Yeah, both her and Driesenga had it going today. Obviously, it was against less than steller competition but still. Far more efficient today.

I kind of was like uhhhhh when NC State hit that 1st inning HR. Elite response by Betsa. Strikeouts galore.
Not only are the fans happy but I'm sure the team is happy they won't be playing into the early morning. They could've been if they didn't run rule both opponents tonight.

will be a tough test...They gave Florida a very tough battle....cant wait to see if the bats can come thru against a really good Washington team. Im getting to where SB is one of my favorite Michigan teams..Been following them for a very long time when they used to come down here to Columbus Ga every year... I miss that tournament..Id get to see them every year
