Pretty sure we missed 47 bowls after the 1902 Rose Bowl.

We didn't go to a bowl game between 1972-1974. Of course, the Big Ten had their silly horseshit rule about the Rose Bowl or No Bowl. Michigan went 30-2-1 and sat home for the holidays all three years.
A more legitimate concern is the back-to-back losing seasons. The last time we did that was 1962-1963, where we went 2-7 and 3-4-2.

be the first time this happened since the Big Ten has allowed teams to participate in bowls other than the Rose Bowl.
