2 free M/OSU tickets (pick up on 9th floor of Mott) [edit: claimed]
So this is random, but I seem to have made a miscalculation. I thought dropping by the triage unit in the pregnancy center at Mott would get my wife and me sent away with a diagnosis of false labor in time to get to the game tonight. But they're keeping us for at least another hour, even if this isn't the real thing. I have two tickets to tonight's game in my pocket. If you can come get them, you can have them.
Leave your email if you're up for it and I'll drop you a note with info on how to contact me when you get here.
Edit: the tickets are directly behind the Michigan bench, three rows behind the Maize Rage. They're good seats--once Brian showed up in the row in front of me and I harassed him a little. The people next to me sometimes sell their tickets for $100 or more a piece for crap games, so I will accept face value for them ($50/ticket) if you want to give it to me, but don't feel obligated. I can't use them anyway.
Edit 2: goblue2015 just picked up the tickets. May he be kind to the nice old lady who sits next to us.
Edit 3: We're home now, and hopefully won't miss any more games unless the baby actually comes. Thanks for all the well wishes!

I'd certainly give you face for them if I was still in A2. Hope you get to see the game.
Best of luck to you and your wife!!
To the person who gets these, you better cheer loud and proud!

Very nice gesture, I must say (and is really all I have to say).

2 College students that would appreciate the offer. I regularly volunteer at CS through Phi Delta Epsilon. Congrats on the future U of M fan.

But I also hope your child comes into a world where Ohio is soundly beaten. Congratulations though, in all seriousness.

I kept telling the midwife she was going to have to delay the labor whenever Michigan fell behind, but she didn't seem to recognize how much wisdom I was displaying.

I just yelled "Brian" at him until he turned around, and then demanded that he confirm for the person sitting directly behind him that he was famous on the internet, because she didn't believe me. I don't think he liked it.

So as not to keep anybody in suspense, it took them over 2 hours and some consultation before they sent us home, but no baby tonight.

...and not during the Wisconsin game. I was always grateful my kids wait until 3 weeks after the end of my teaching semester to be born. My husband was always grateful that our first-born arrived in time for him to watch the new Simpsons episode (back in 1994).
Best of luck on your new Wolverine

Many students at the University claim to have been Wolverine fans since birth. Swaroop can say so quite literally.
At halftime of the game, with Michigan leading 17-7, Swaroop was born.
“It was perfect timing for (my dad) because he didn’t have to miss any of the game,” Swaroop said.
When the game resumed, her father turned the hospital room television to catch the second half, cradling his newborn baby at the same time.
