After watching this I wonder how many pass attempts his high school team had last year. If it was over 5-10 for the entire season the coach should be fired. Unless Najee was throwing the passes.

Likely so, but then it is not the first time we've had someone make a startling personal admission with little to no warning or context, so there's a small chance that we can only see improvement from here. A small one, mind you. I am bracing for having to remove that account soon though.

Seeing Saquan Barkley cut and accelerate quickly to top end speed is a thing of beauty. How well does Najee compare specifically in this regard? That is my primary concern with a 6'3 230 pound back.

Najee is less Saquon Barkley and more Todd Gurley.

Apparently, Barkley averaged a 4.38 40 time (fastest was a 4.32) in spring ball last year.
By all accounts, Najee Harris isn't there yet, running more in the 4.6 range.

Guys can get faster, but Najee is also 4 inches taller than Saquon, and probably taller than most defensive players he's gonna face. Najee will get yards after contact as well as being a threat on the perimeter and as a receiver with his ball skills and insane agility. He can do a lot.

Did they have in a CB before and switch it or just put a new one in? I'm not sure I read much into it, as if they didn't have one in for Bama when he committed there they missed that boat, so putting one in for michigan now can get them some points if he does switch.

I just checked Fratello-Hakim and he did not have a CB in for him prior, so you might be right, Indonacious.

Yes he did. They were both flips that had him going to USC before. USC isn't happening, and they can't change it to Bama since he's committed there. So they might as well change their picks to Michigan to have a chance of salvaging points.
Feeling really confident about Najee coming here, but these crystal balls mean absolutely nothing.

Exactly this. They flipped. One is an Illinois writer so he must have the inside info.
There's great guys on that site like Steve, but they let way too many unqualified people have picks that just base them on other people's info.

20 tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 2 sacks so far this year.
He's still got a year left, but he hasn't made a huge impact yet in his career. He wasn't as big of a loss as a lot of Michigan people thought, IMO.
