Just wanted to let everybody know that the 1998 NCAA Hockey Final against Boston College will be on Friday at 5:30 before our game with Northern Michigan (also on BTN).
I was wondering when they'd get one of our championships played on BTN. I hope they add the 1996 final eventually also. But this was a great game and it felt awesome to own the football and hockey NC at the same time. I was only 9 at the time, but this was one of the games that made me a fan of all things Michigan. I had really only paid attention to basketball and football up to that point.
Hope you can all tune in. Or DVR it.
I remeber being on the phone, with my Dad, when the winning goal was scored. We were screaming in each other's ear. I was 4x your age (at the time). Woot.
