GMAT's first game as DC vs. OSU aka the Biakabutuka game.
Hockey pet peeve: "when a teammate tips a puck in on you, which is exactly how my first collegiate goal against happened. Thanks, Copper."
I always thought Biakabatuka would have been a great NFL back if he hadn't messed up his knee.
I love the Gameday clip at the beginning. This is priceless.
Oh and Craig James = Douchebag
The fact that Mark Jones is doing the play by play for this game is mind boggling.
The Tshimangering. My second favorite The Game. Behind the D. Boston affair of '97.
One of the greatest M running back games ever. Best friend and I watched it from Scotty D's seats in the Blue Hair section. His sister was totally banging him, Tiffany Reiff. She is married to Brent Wall now, if anyone remembers he was a awesome PiHi player basketball player that went to Fairfield, and actually gave UCONN a good game when Richard Hamilton played for them. Go Blue!
Not cool. Those are real people's names. Somebody wake up the mods.
Why is that not cool? It's the truth.... Do you post real people's names of Michigan Football players? Those are also real people's names too aren't they? Please educate me on the difference?
The difference is I didn't get my butt raped by the Reiff family as you obviously did.
You did not respond to my question. Are Michigan Football players real people? Do you post with the real names of Michigan players here? Can you explain to everyone here the difference between Michigan Football players names and real people names? Can you please respond with a real answer instead of some childish remark?
The mods have been alerted. Go to sleep.
So, I guess you have no real response to my questions. Had to run to mommy and get my posts banned??
Certainly a strange way to treat your "best friend".
I respect all of your post's Pahokee, you are a great Michigan fan. But again you did not answer any of my questions. Talking about Michigan Football players is not libel.... But talking about real working persons in the A2 community is? The information that I posted is true, and if you honestly think I am full of b.s. than I CHALLENGE you to to go Old Fashion Services on Monday morning and ask Tiff if anything here I said is incorrect.
How may times can you post without answering my questions? Why would my comments be deleted? What have I posted that is not true? I don't understand your line of questioning with Andy. Please explain to everyone here why my friendship with Andy has anything to do with the questions I am asking you? Do you even read my posts? Sorry dude but please grow some balls and answer my questions.
Let's talk about your sister and her sex life. I mean, that's what football blog message boards are for, right?
For real...this kind of talk is definitely NSFW or H.
I can sleep now. Thanks for answering all my questions with all your intelligent MGoBlog answers. I now realize you actually don't know crap about A2 and do not have the mental aptitude to respond to anything. Do you want me to explain what aptitude means, I don't think that came up yet on your 8th grade test. I hope you are actually just drunk or high because I honestly do like your posts about the football team. Go Blue!!
P.S. - Andy thinks your funny!
Pahokee you are a great M Fan. Let's meet for the ND game so I can prove my posts to you. Sorry about the last comment. I, like everyone else here is super pissed about the current state of M football and Basketball. It is sad that 2 great M fans have sat here and dissed on eachother. I honorably bow down to you, and wish to never speak of this again.
Come on man, you need to remove the names before people start googling and blowing up her Facebook. This episode of six degrees of separation is not cool.
I could've been the DC with Touchdown Timmy running and the O line blocking like that.
But not with a QB throwing three picks like Griese did. Thanks to those INTs, we couldn't put them away, and the D had to come up big in the fourth quarter.
Michigan must beat OSU next season. OSU is getting closer and closer to owning Michigan for an entire decade.
I know it is old fashioned to say but that is Michigan football that I love and I believe can be successfully translated to today's college football landscape.
That was a great game. Michigan dominated O$U in the 90's. John Cooper was a great coach for O$U. Can't wait until we get back on top.
Those were the days.
Craig James: "Michigan Stadium is the least intimidating big stadium I've ever been in."
But great memories of watching that game. Thanksgiving weekend, ordered pizza and sat around the TV with the family watching Biakabutuka run wild.
I know Northwestern was the big story in college football that year but it annoyed the crap out of me that the cameras kept showing their players reactions to every single big play we made.
It's so random. Good thing Northwestern is, and always will be, "just" Northwestern.
I wonder how bitter he is that Herbstreit has his job now. You'd think that he'd be a bit more favorable toward Michigan now.
a shed in Lubbock, Texas. That guy is a dick!!!!!!
yellow line! Where's the fucking line?! Was that enough for the first down? How'd we ever manage?
Great Video, watching the whole thing. Need to go to bed!!! BTW, I love the announcers reference to the "World Wide Web" at around the 1:33:00 mark. Not bad for 1995.
Here's a moldy oldie from the mid-90s: the Space Jam website, apparently untouched by the ravages of time or technology updates. It's pretty funny to see a site map these days.
This was a great video!! This was my first time seeing it since being at that game as a freshman in the MMB. I will never forget the look on the faces of tsio's band. They even skipped the reception we had planned for afterward. Ahh sweet memories!!!
This just made my Sunday better. I was at this game, and everytime Tim touched the ball in the second half, everyone stood up expecting him to go the distance. I'm not sure one player has ever stamped a game as thoroughly as he did that day. Great Post!
"Well, he's a great back, but he's not that good."
