One of the meanest, nastiest but awesomely coolest dudes ever.

Master of the bull rush with an All-World name that was perfect for playing D-Line, the MMA cage, or as the middle eastern enforcer of an evil mastermind;

The telestrator explanation of how the defensive line slanted to the outside, at the end of the goal line stand video, is fantastic.  We basically gambled that PSU wouldn't run a QB sneak or another quick-hitting play, and it ended up with four defenders having a free shot at Carter.

I had just graduated in May and moved out to DC working for a Michigan Member of Congress who had a PSU grad as the office manager. She was sooo sweet to me the first couple months of working for the congressman but always was whining about "having" to join the Big Ten as it was a step down in competition from their independent schedule.

So, I went to Happy Valley that weekend and met up with some buds who were still in school and some other recent grads. Had a great time at the bars on Friday night and took all sorts of similar good-natured ribbing along the same tenor as my office manager's. So, so sweet smacking Kerry Collins and Ki-Jana "Little Warrior" Carter in the mouth. We were not treated well on the way out - they were stunned like if they had lost to a Div III team! The same well-wishers on the way into the stadium became Visigoths on the way out...

When I got back to DC, the office manager wouldn't give me that Monday off (nungover like whoa) and never treated me quite the same...WORTH IT!!

This game was a game for the big uglies up front. Just a head knockin, belly up, kind of football game. The big burly resident Michigan welcomed Penn St into the Big Ten with an ol fashioned goal line stand! 4 times Penn St tried for the touchdown, 4 times Michigan stopped them in their tracks. Whooooooooa Nelly!!!

Leaving the stadium was so cool. Their fans were shocked. One dude was talking to his friends and he goes "I just can't believe that we lost" I looked at them and loudly said "Welcome to the Big 10!". They just looked at me and shook their heads and I laughed all the way out of the stadium. That was FUN!
