1992 Michigan vs ohio Highlights

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Just posted a video of the 1992 Michigan vs ohio game in the 1992 season. It was the final tie game in Michigan football history.

1992 was the first time Michigan finished the season with 3 ties since 1910.

I have actually looked for these highlights on youtube in the past, never to find them. Thank you!

Also, the 1998 Michigan/OSU highlights I can't find anywhere either (Yes, I know we lost that game)

In John Falk's book, he said that the ohio fans actually RUSHED THE FIELD.

That speaks volumes on how badly they wanted to celebrate something when it came to The Game back then. Should have gave cooper a 10 year contract extension.

being extremely disappointed after this game.  It felt like a loss.  Three ties in one season was weird for sure.  Makes it easy to forget that they didn't actually lose that year.

God I miss the Cooper era.  We were getting pretty cocky by 1992, we had beaten them 4 years in a row - really badly the year before in '91 (Desmond's pose).  I remember actually blowing off  watching the first half and doing some chores instead because by that time, I had gotten complacent about Ohio State.

So for them to tie us was actually a pretty big "upset".  That was our area code year: 9-0-3.  That was the most unsatisfying undefeated season in human history.  Thank god for the CFB overtime rule.
